Dr Lavac saw my dog Bruno today for a wellness exam. It was our first visit here and Dr Lavac took his time to thoroughly examine Bruno and answer all my questions. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Bruno and I both felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend this VCA!

I just met the kindest, most compassionate vet (Jessica Baron, DVM) and staff members that I have ever met in my life. Of course anyone that cares for animals is already amazing in my book, so this is saying a lot. From the moment I called about my sick rescue dog needing to be seen ASAP, we were treated with the utmost care, concern and urgency. They all seemed happy to be there to help, even though it was a Sunday morning. Once we arrived Dr Baron and her medical assistant were so gentle with my dog while they performed a thorough exam. Everyone here exuded genuine kindness and concern for Buddy while they also calmed my level 10 stress and fears. Emma at the front desk gave me lots of great information about their insurance/health packages and even suggested a nice diet that will be helpful for my dog. I was a bit in shock when I arrived, so I didn’t catch everyone’s name, but everyone was 100% top-level amazing! If you need a vet for your pets I highly recommend Dr Jessica Baron and the team at VCA, 2421 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90403. Dr. Baron is an extremely caring, considerate, and wise doctor and we always feel she has the best care of her animal patients in mind. She did a wonderful job recently helping our Venus with her SLO condition. We now have our happy pup back! Also the staff, like Anthony, is always kind and animal loving. Thanks!

Alicia, Anthony, and Emma are such amazing staff members!! They all treat Mahmoud, my kitty, like their own. They recognize him and greet him like a human (lol) and have some of the best manners. Dr. Castro is also extremely patient and excellent with Mahmoud. He’s gentle, kind, and very informative and educational when it comes to explaining what’s a potential issue. I am so lucky to live so close to this location.

I love VCA Wilshire, I've been going here for a very long time. They took a picture of my cat and text it to me, which I thought was cool. The vets here are very professional, and they don't try and sell you too many things, although the stuff they do sell you is always very useful, at least to me. We all have our own experiences.

We dropped in for an emergency visit today after my cat's eye began rapidly swelling. Dr. Castro is an incredible veterinarian and we appreciated his kind bedside manner as well as his willingness to see our cat on emergency notice. I highly recommend VCA Wilshire & Dr. Castro.
