Modern Animal Russian Hill

We love it here. Everybody is so nice and really accomodates my nervousness as a first time dog mom and all of 🐝🍯 🐶 ongoing needs as a bulldog. Thank you for always making us feel so comfortable and answering all our questions and concerns. The care fits the price tag. The FREE secured parking garage and the welcome beverage fridge are added bonus.

Been here 3 times over the year - for vaccines, routine check up and for an urgent care incident. The nurses and veterinarian are thorough and reassuring about my dog’s care plan in their app and providing updates and decisions. Technicians made my dog very at ease with getting routine vaccines and wound dressing from an accident. Def recommend Dr Zuk and the pricing and convenience were fair

I've been taking my pup Lelu to Modern Animal for almost 3 years now and they are a great group of people to have take care of your pet. Lelu doesn't particularly like going to the vet, but they are all very understanding and attentive to her needs/sensitivities. Our most recent visit was probably her best vet visit in our 5 years together. However, it quickly went south upon leaving; when Ms. Lelu had an allergic reaction to the vaccines she received. We quickly came back and the staff jumped into action and took great care of my sidekick. They were able to quell the symptoms and kept a close eye on her until she was ready to head home. I honestly can't see use going anywhere else for care. Any of their locations will do an excellent job of caring for your littlest family member(s). I've recommended friends and would recommend them to anyone needing reliable care.

Modern Animal is the best! My cat is very anxious and shy. The care team makes her feel the most comfortable I’ve ever seen her in an office. Even with all the high tech resources, there’s such a present personal level of care. It’s the best of both worlds, I can’t recommend it enough.

I've never had a terrible experience at this Modern Animal location! I have a senior pup which requires me to come every month for routine injections as well as regular senior screenings. The staff, which includes the vet technicians, front desk, and doctors, are all incredible and have the best attitude. Dr. Popp is nothing short of exceptional! I've also seen Dr. Raissa and she is also amazing 🙂 Would highly recommend over and over again!

I tried several vets in SF until I found Modern Animal, and can't say enough good things about them. Dr. Popp has taken amazing care of my dog for years (and everyone else who's cared for Finleigh), and I can't imagine choosing anyone else. It feels like truly premium care for a very reasonable and very transparent price.

I took my new kitten here for her first vet visit and for some needed care for an eye infection. Service was phenomenal and my kitten was comfortable and not scared through out! The vets and staff did a great job explaining kitten care for me as a first time cat owner. I will be coming back for my kitten’s regular needs.
