My dogs were members of Dr. Treat for years, and I genuinely used to recommend it to everyone. The staff, especially the front desk team, are incredibly kind and clearly love every animal that walks through the door. Unfortunately, over the past year my experience at appointments changed. I often felt pressured into additional tests or shots that felt unnecessary, which made visits stressful and uncomfortable. Having to repeatedly say no while feeling like a bad pet parent eventually became too much. I don’t think this is the fault of the vets or staff, but more a reflection of how the business is run now. It’s a real shame because the membership model, easy scheduling, and app are great. In the end, though, I shouldn’t leave the vet feeling guilty or avoiding appointments altogether.

The people at Dr Treat truly care about the animals and provide a high level of care for the animals- nothing bad to say about the vets we saw or anyone working there. When you walk in the vibe is less vet office, more venture capital funded start up. As someone who loves animals but prefers to be a bit more conservative on medical treatment for animals, I found some of the more recommendations we were given for care of our older cat a bit excessive. One time I brought him in for an eye infection and was just looking to get some erythromycin drops that he’d used before and the vet made a treatment plan for over 1000, including subcutaneous fluids, pain meds (he wasn’t in any obvious discomfort), an ophthalmology consult and other tests. I opted for the drops only and he was better in 2 days. I appreciate the thoroughness but as a nurse even if it were a human I was bringing to the PCP with an obvious eye infection I wouldn’t be giving fluids or going to the ophthalmologist before we gave drops a try. Had a similar experience of getting a thousand plus dollar treatment plan (that I opted out of parts of) when I brought him in for another minor issue, that was easily resolved with minimal intervention. Good people, good vets, but just felt more like a money making operation then vet care for the average person. I go to my neighborhood vet office now and have been much happier.

We can’t say enough amazing things about Dr. Treat. Our beloved Camilla is in pre-heart failure, and the care she has received here so far has been nothing short of extraordinary. ❤️ Dr. Moffat has been a compassionate, knowledgeable, and steady hand throughout this emotional journey. She not only treats Camilla with the utmost care and respect, but she also takes the time to clearly explain every step of her treatment and what to expect. Her dedication and empathy give us so much peace of mind. A special shoutout to Melissa, who has gone above and beyond for our family — always checking in, offering reassurance, and being an absolute rock during the tougher moments. Her warmth and kindness make such a difference, and we are endlessly grateful. It’s clear they love what they do — and that love is reflected in every interaction. Thank you for helping us give Camilla the best quality of life possible. 💕🐾

Amazing service! Everyone is kind - front desk, nurses and doctors. This is our first dog and it’s been a breeze working with Dr. treat. I love that I can make appointments super easy and the staff is always helpful, even when I’m probably overreacting 😅. Highly recommend!

Really disappointed with my experience. When you walk in, you are required to hold your unvaccinated pet. I assumed this was maybe just for the waiting room given the animal traffic. My puppy was not allowed on the floor of the exam room either. When I asked if they cleaned the floors, I was told yes but he is still not allowed on it. This was stressful for him as he had to be held on a high, small table for the duration of his appointment in a foreign room with new people. He is a 9 wk old golden and when I asked what happens when I can no longer carry him, the vet told me to get a stroller. Never have I heard a veterinarian require a stroller. They also tried to push vaccines on us - issuing one on the spot that could have waited and saying that he would need 3 next week. He only needs 1 next week. I questioned the safety of all 3 in one go for such a young puppy and was told he may be vomiting and to bring him back in. That is a severe reaction to a vaccine and it felt like they simply didn’t care. The vet and tech were very robotic and did not care to get to know my pet or discuss my questions. I called multiple vets afterward who would never do the 3 vaccines in one visit. Would encourage others to avoid this place.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Tony Huynh and the entire team at Dr. Treat for the exceptional care they provided to our two dogs, Shay and Mason. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the staff is dedicated, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Dr. Huynh, in particular, went above and beyond in managing our dogs' care, taking the time to address all our concerns and ensure their comfort. Working with such a caring and professional team has been a truly positive experience, and I’m incredibly grateful for the love and attention they’ve shown our pets. Highly recommend Dr. Treat for anyone seeking top-notch veterinary care.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a veterinary clinic. I would never take my beloved pet there again. When I politely questioned a bill that seemed excessive, the lead nurse responded in an aggressive and dismissive manner, saying, "This is the price—do the procedures or don’t." I asked to speak with the veterinarian again, and while waiting I could clearly hear staff discussing me behind a closed door. It was incredibly embarrassing and upsetting. The entire interaction felt unprofessional and disrespectful. This clinic is extremely overpriced, and the way I was treated was unacceptable. I will not be returning and believe my annual fee should be refunded.
