This place is amazing. They immediately take you back into a room where your pet is the only one there. It definitely helped keep my spicy little cat calmer. The way the staff talked to her with kindness and patience while she was trying to claw at them made a huge impression on me. I never hope to have the need for urgent vet care again, but will definitely use this location if I do.

They got me in on basically no notice. Very nice and thorough. Spent a lot of time explaining what was going on. Sent me home with meds for my cat. Even received a follow up call. And the air conditioning rocks!! Would recommend!

Our community cat Shadow suffered an injury from a scuffle with another kitty. He’s protecting his turf. We were seeking medical attention for him and researched and found this facility. We made a quick reservation on their website and arrived shortly after that. Check in was easy. Shadow was seen and treated. The assistant and Dr. were very kind and caring. Shadow was very calm and made himself at home in the waiting room. We 100% recommend this place.

We were evaluated thoroughly by a nurse and met with a knowledgeable vet. Our vet laid out two treatment options. I opted for the more aggressive treatment and my dog is much improved at 24H. I was able to get the information I needed to file a claim with pet insurance They called to check on her the next day and sent records to my vet

Unfortunately we recently had to go to Urgent Vet on Breckinridge Ln for unexpected end of life care and cremation for my sweet girl cat who was 16. We came in an hurry an hour before they closed on a Saturday and didn’t have an appointment but got assisted right away. Everyone was so kind and supportive, helpful, and caring and helped so much in such an emotional and unexpected time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience given the circumstances. Unfortunately a few weeks later, we found ourselves in a very similar situation with our 15 year old family dog, who ended up receiving end of life care with urgent vet as well- and although the circumstances are so unfortunate and heartbreaking, I’m glad that the same service, care, and supportiveness was shown to my mom and dad and siblings that my boyfriend and I received the first time around with my girl. I never write reviews but I felt that the employees of Urgent Vet did such a fantastic job in such unfortunate circumstances, and I will be forever grateful! I will forever keep the card with her nose and paw prints, her clay paw print, and the note of condolences (so unexpected and so truly beautiful, thank you.)

My dog was attacked by another dog and UrgentVet was a life saver! I had to send my 17 year old son in there with my dog while I waited for animal control. I called ahead and they could not have been any nicer. She took my information over the phone and was so great to my son and our hurt dog. Once I arrived I was so happy to see that our sweet boy had already been triaged and they had managed to stop any bleeding. They were able to get him stitched up and sent us home with medication and everything we needed to take care of our dog and it was all done at a very reasonable price. We had 2 follow-up visits with the Dr so she could remove his drain and then his sutures. The whole staff was VERY caring and comforting during a very stressful time. I truly don't know how we would have managed if they weren't there.

I thank God that they were open on a Sunday at 4 PM. This group is wonderful and rushed out to my car to help my dog that had gotten cut by a weedeater. She had a 5 inch gash in her side and they were able to keep me calm as well as sedate her, sew it up and she was back home three hours later and is recovering beautifully. I would highly recommend going to this group if you have an urgent situation with a pet. At other emergency vets that I’ve been to in this city they hand me a Care Credit form as soon as I walk in the door. This group sat and went over the costs with me and we decided on what was best for my baby.
