Elk Creek Animal Hospital of Hikes Point

We moved to Louisville from South Florida nearly four years ago and our number one priority was finding the right place to take care of our furkids to. Our Louisville friends recommended Elk Creek Animal Hospital and I'm so glad that they did because we love it . The staff is great and Dr Bennett ,who has taken care of both of our babies,is incredible!! He is very empathetic and compassionate with our pitties when they visit . Our Louie boy had to have a histiocytoma removed not long after we moved and my other sweet pittie girl,Coco, recently had a nasty scab on her nose that wasn't going away so we brought her in to see Dr Bennett to take a look at it. Both of our pitties are doing great now thanks to his talents . He has a perfect balance between his love and compassion for animals and his professionalism. We couldn't be happier to have found him and a wonderful staff that makes us feel like family when we come in. Thanks to all for all your hard work to make this such a wonderful place ❤️

My fur babies have been seeing Dr. Bennett for almost 10 years, and he’s been amazing. He always takes time to love on them and make them feel comfortable before every exam. He explains everything thoroughly, answers all my questions, and never makes me feel rushed. The entire team at Elk Creek Hikes Point is so kind and welcoming, and their prices are very reasonable. I even drive from Elizabethtown to Louisville because I trust them that much with my pets’ care. I highly recommend them!

Elk Creek has been the most amazing clinic for our veterinary needs. Dr. Bennett (Louisville) and Dr. Rohleder (Fisherville) have helped us through some of our most difficult medical concerns and decisions regarding our loved ones. Their level of care and compassion is comforting and reliable. 10/10 would recommend.

Forever grateful for Dr Bennett and the entire team there, they are very good people. they are not out for your money like most are, they only want what’s good for your pet and it really shows. They took the best care of our boy! Everyone is so professional, kind and caring! We moved across the bridge and changed Vets due to convenience when we got a new pup. For neutering I was quoted more than double at another veterinary clinic, needless to say we will be making the trip across the bridge happily going forward!

Loved our first visit with our new baby and our senior baby. Everyone took the time to make us feel welcomed, we had a lot of questions and the doctor had no problem taking each question and and answering us no matter how long we needed.

Our furry family member Ruby has many health issues we are dealing with. I thought the trip to Elk Creek Hikes Point was a good choice. The visit was on the expensive side. I hope future visits will be more budget friendly. Everyone was great. Access to the building is much better for someone with mobility issues than the previous vet we were using.
