Harbour Place Animal Clinic

I moved to this vet to be closer to home. I am sad to say I won’t be going back. My dog has allergies/paw licking and dental concerns. The prescription at this vet cost $265 for a 60 day supply, but cost $85 for 90 days at the previous vet. When I explained this, rather than figuring out why, the nurse instead gave me a written prescription (charged $7.50 just to write it) to take elsewhere. As for the dental concerns, the vet made a rude comment, but offered no advice on proper dental care. The nurse simply returned with an $850 estimate for dental surgery.

I want to thank harbor Animal veterinary clinic for everything they do for our community and Fur babies.. The office staff are absolutely wonderful they are extremely attentive understanding and compassionate about the services that will be or have been performed. We have a 12 year old 3 1/2 pound teacup Pomeranian that had to have surgery as you know I was overly worried and concerned about every process of the procedure. Jackie called and checked on this before the procedure and after the procedure to provide answers to any questions and to check up on how our baby was doing. The veterinarian in the office is seasoned on all types of pets that’s why we go here small to large animals. Those of you who have small animals know how hard it is to find a veterinarian that you can trust to provide vaccinations sedations and surgeries Due to the Small size of these animals. That’s why I am writing this review to say thank you to everyone that is part of the staff here at this clinic. We appreciate everything that you do!!!!

looking into other review I can easily tell they came from insider. NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL EXPENSIVE AND ALWAYS RECOMMEND THINGS NOT NEEDED.how ever it's clean.

I have been taking my dog here for about three years for medical, grooming, vaccines, and boarding. I am always extremely pleased with everyone on staff there. They are so accommodating and sweet. Twice this year, my dog has had an emergency on a weekday. They allowed me to drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon, ready to go. The vet will stop what she's doing to come to explain everything to me. The staff always calls after a visit to make sure that everything is okay. The groomer is lovely and handles my dog with care. Even though I have moved to Riverside, I always make the drive out to Harbor Place.

this is a money trap! We brought in our cat for a bath special for $16.50. when we made the appointment we were told to bring his paperwork showing that he has certain vaccines, which he does. when we dropped the cat off they checked the paperwork and we left. about a half hour later after we drove back to the other side of town we get a call saying that one of his vaccines expired and they therefore won't bathe him. we were unable to pick him up because we were at work and had driven all the way back. $129 dollars and a few hours later we were able to take our cat home. they charged us for a $50 office visit, the shots for $30, a $25 flea bath on top of the bath special and various admin/disposal fees! first, those prices are way inflated and that's extortion! second and most importantly it is the clinic's responsibility to make sure the paperwork is correct and if it's not to tell us so we can make an informed decision if we are able or willing to spend $129 dollars for a cat bath. it's like they lure you in with a deal and add all these unnecessary and overpriced services on top and you have no choice but to pay if you want your cat back. unethical and unprofessional.

Love this place! They definitely care about the animals that come there. My dog hurt her neck for the time we didn’t know what was going on with her or what happen 🙁 seriously rushed home grabbed my puppy And rushed out the door called so many Animal Hospital’s no one would take us so last minute. This was an emergency we didn’t know if she was seriously hurt anything going to die I had no idea she was shaking bless her heart. Called this place and they got us Friday and I’m so grateful our dog is OK. She is resting now. At the rest the family are very relieved 💕

I was referred here but the person did say that they had not been in a while. Well, it's Thanksgiving I had planned to go visit family and needed to board my dogs. Setup the appointment. The page/recording said they close at 12. So, I called to make sure and to ask other questions. I was told that at the last minute they decided to close at 11 or in a few minutes as she said. Because the doctor was going out of town and had some "late" appt come in (made no sense, late appt mean you stay late right?). So now at 11 am I'm scrambling to find a "reliable and honest" boarder for my dogs, so that I can spend time with my family. Go somewhere that will do great business because the doctor has nothing to do with accepting dogs for boarding.
