Banfield Pet Hospital

Front desk staff are very rude and dismissive. Scolded me because I had an 8:30 apt and I needed to stay with my dog- she doesn’t like other people. Told me mornings were for drop off only and next time I needed to specify. I informed her that no one asked me if I needed to stay with my dog nor was I informed about the rule. Maybe the employee scheduling should ask or make the client aware of this rule- as I had only been there one time back in 2024. No apology offered. Just reiterated having to specify. The lady could have at least apologized instead of continuing to be rude to me. I literally had to ask for my receipt and my dogs medication….. I had just purchased. The Vet was really nice and attentive though.

We are so pleased that we switched care for our "senior" fur-baby, Bree, to San Pablo Banfield veterinary care center. All the staff members have gone out of their way to treat our girl with care and compassion. This makes us feel very comfortable, as well. We are all working together to relieve Bree's distress. Thank you, Banfield!

Word can not express how I feel about this place. Everyone is so welcoming, always smiling and very helpful. They answer all your questions from the stuff all the way to the Vets. I love that the doctors are very friendly, always guiding you and keeping you in forms of your fur baby every step of the way. I can never thank them enough for all they do. Thank you! 🙏🏼💕

The veterinary staff went above and beyond to make both me and my cat comfortable. Dr. Powers takes the time to sit next to me and thoroughly explain what is going on, and all of my available options. I didn’t catch the veterinary assistant’s name but she told me that she held my cat while they waited on tests to be conducted and even gave her a "reward." It made my day so much better. I highly recommend Banfield on San Pablo.

Love the staff at Banfield and have used various locations in Jax for years. Took my 19 year old Chihuahua on 4th of July, they got me in at last minute since I have Wellness program which I've used extensively and it's saved me so much money. They go the extra mile!

We came in to have our corgi's jaw and mouth checked out after he was attacked by a pitbull at a dog park. The attending nurse/receptionist was very kind and empathetic, however after she met with the doctor on site, we were sent away due to them closing in an hour and they didn't believe they'd be able to do anything if there was an issue. We have the wellness plan with Banfield but that apparently doesn't mean anything. We just wanted an opinion before going to an emergency vet.

I have two dogs with wellness plans and my fiance has one dog with a wellness plan. The staff (vets, techs, front desk team) are always amazing! I can almost always get a same day appt or next day appt. All of our babies have doctor anxiety but the team knows how to handle them. Dr. Powers is THE BEST! I love her! She takes her time explaining treatment plans for my babies, answers all my questions and geniunely cares about their well being. Our wellness plans save us SO much $$ and we know when we go there, our pups are in the very best hands. Keep up the great work!!
