We can’t thank Sunstone enough ! From our first apt with Dr Klaser where she found a large mass in our dog Gimlis abdomen via ultrasound - she explained our options throughly and we never felt rushed she took the time to go over results. Then to Dr Su who did the surgery she took the time to meet with us and explain the surgery and potential outcomes and what to expect, along with the great vet techs ( sorry I don’t remember your names! ) it wasn’t the biopsy results we were hopping for ( even though both vets were thinking it most likely wasn’t good ) it turned out being Hemangiosarcoma but Gimli is now a month post surgery and he hasn’t been this perky , eating great and active since well before Christmas ! We are so glad we decided to do the surgery or else we would not still have him with us . THANK YOU ALL !!!
Dr. Elliott was the best vet I ever took my dog to. He helped us figure out a complex medical issue she experienced late in her life. He was always compassionate and made sure I understood what was going on and what our options were. I’m extremely grateful to him and Sunstone.
The staff at Sunstone and Laura specifically were amazing rendering care for Lucy, even when we had to come back a second time they were quick and thorough with their plan of action. If you unfortunately need emergency services I highly recommend Sunstone. Thank you again for all the help I could’ve ever asked for!
I’ve never been to such an amazing place. They were patient and kind with my kids and of course my cat! They made things work for us and our income (the best they could) We were able to come home within an hour and a half maybe? Just an amazing place awesome employees I will never take my pet children to any other ER vet. If you have an emergency this is the place to go! I’m more than happy and Feel completely taken care of!
We had a great experience here with our dog who needed TPLO surgery twice over the course of two years. Dr. Su performed the surgeries and was extremely caring, understanding, and as communicative as possible throughout the process. The first one to two weeks of recovery are tough, and we found the vets and vet techs to be super helpful and expeditious with responding to our concerns when something would come up during that time. Before our first surgery my primary vet had given us a few different options for TPLO, and although Sunstone was slightly more expensive than others, it was worth every penny to have peace of mind. We are now 8 months post the second TPLO and our sweet Stanley is hiking and running around like normal. He is also very anxious and nervous at the vet and they did their best to take care of him throughout. Would totally recommend to anyone who needed TPLO for their dog to get it done at Sunstone by Dr. Su. Thank you!
We were referred to this hospital by our vet as our elderly cat was not eating for days and was very sick. They immediately were kind and empathetic and took such good care of him. The nurses were kind, the front desk was kind and I’m unsure of the name of our vet, but she was an incredibly kind, patient and compassionate person who made us feel held through this entire ordeal. With her help, we came to the decision that it was best to let our soulmate of 18 years go. The process was so difficult emotionally, but made so beautiful by the medical staff who let us have as much time with him as we wanted. I can’t thank this team enough for the care we and our sweet cat Hemingway received on the last day of his life. Thank you, thank you ❤️
We (my partner and I) panicked when our small cat started throwing up and quivering in a way that was concerning. We called Sunstone and they were fantastic over the phone, giving us the breakdown of what to expect. When we were all checked in, a vet tech came shortly after and was so kind/affirming. We were moved in a separate room right away, which was great for our super nervous cat. Everyone from the resident vet to the vet tech who helped gave her fluids and her anti-nausea medication were wonderful with her/us. Definitely the place you want to go if you are having a veterinary emergency.
