STATVet Animal Urgent Care at Cherry Street

The veterinarians and staff at StatVet on Cherry Street are truly exceptional. Every visit, they’re kind, accommodating, and genuinely respectful — you can feel their passion for animals the moment you walk in. Back in October 2025, we brought in two parvo-positive puppies we found dumped. StatVet gave us realistic but encouraging guidance, created a treatment plan that fit our budget, and empowered us to be hands-on with their care. Thanks to their direction, both puppies survived and are still with us today. We returned on 2/3/26 for one of those pups with a hurt paw, and once again received the same welcoming, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. StatVet has quickly become our go-to urgent care for our fur babies. Honestly, if they ever offered primary care, they’d have our full loyalty there, too. Been here twice for when one of my dogs needed an x-ray and recently when the other needed stitches! Despite the visits being years apart, their service was consistently amazing! One of my dogs is severely reactive towards vets. They worked with her in a way I hadn’t seen with any other vet i’d taken her before (or after honestly). It was one of the only times I’d left a vet and didn’t feel embarrassed about all her barking and growling, mostly cuz I think she didn’t feel like she had to bark and growl as much here! They also emailed me a picture of the x-ray which was cool! Our other dog needed stitches and they were super nice with her too! It wasn’t too long of a wait and she’s patched up and home now! They are super transparent about how much things are going to cost, and I noticed they tended to round upwards when it came to estimates, so there was no scary surprises of an extra million dollars being charged after things were done (both times for us, the price ended up a little lower than quoted). And as the cherry on top, the bags they send home are cute!

What a relief to find STATVet!! 1) Weekend needs no problem 2) early and late business hours including Sunday no problem 3) great follow up to see how your pet is doing, yup! 👍 If you need after hours care or even Monday thru Friday care this is the place to go. Thanks for caring for our pet after recieving a round of vaccines and appearing to be having a serious reaction. Your quick IV along with other meds had her well into the recovery within a day. Your great hours combined with a treatment plan made it work for us. Pro tip-when your vaccines are administered on say a Friday and your home vett doesn’t work or respond on Saturday or Sunday STATVet is your caring provider. Thanks again!!

We visited StatVet when our regular veterinarian couldn’t get Moose in as quickly as we needed. The level of service, medical care, and compassionate staff was impressive. They were very accommodating to assure I had the correct paperwork for our pet insurance provider, Trupanion. Will absolutely recommend this practice.

I have never had an experience with a vets office like I had last night at StatVet on Cherry St. I called the office around 8:30 pm hysterical that my dog had started throwing up blood. The lady on the phone was so kind, remained calm and gave me step by step instructions on getting my dog to them. When we got to the clinic we were instantly greeted by staff and taken right back to a room. The entire visit the staff was remarkably kind, discussed our options with us throughly (allowed us to decide what we wanted to do first), made sure we understood what they were doing and were great with my boy. Ultimately we ended up paying $1100 to find out our boy just had a really bad tummy ache and maybe bursted a blood vessel in his throat when trying to throw up, but I cannot rave enough about the staff. 10/10 visit and I would 100% take any of my babies there again.

Clean facility, smelled good & staff were helpful, especially Azul. Our family dog, Bertha, was attacked and wounded. We took her to this hospital & she was quickly attended to. Azul was upbeat, patient, gentle & empathetic throughout the whole experience. The hospital was able to work with our limited budget to get her taken care of. You can trust Azul with your pet- they'll be in good hands.

I had a cat with pancreatitis and his name was George Duncan. Right before Labor Day in 2025, his pancreatitis flared up and my regular vet’s office was already closed. George was in a lot of pain so I took him to StatVet on 15th Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were compassionate, professional, skilled and thorough. From that first visit until February 21, 2026, I probably took George Duncan to that StatVet at least 30 times. Pancreatitis in cats is a chronic and difficult disease and although we all tried to beat it, I finally had to give George Duncan some peace. I returned to StatVet where we all shared tears, hugs and goodbyes but there was no place better for George Duncan’s journey to end. They are all amazing and wonderful and I can’t thank them enough. When you need them, they will be there - for the good news and the bad news and everything in between.
