Dr. Williams has been absolutely wonderful with Emma my cat over multiple visits. He is consistently attentive, patient, and truly caring. Every time we’ve seen him, he handles her so gently and makes her feel at ease, which means everything to me since she tends to freak out. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to make both pets and owners feel comfortable. I’m so grateful we found him—highly recommend. The staff is great too.

Great people. I made an Appt for my dog that had a possible intestinal blockage. All is well and big thanks to the Doc and staff.

I think it is extremely unprofessional when you can hear staff talking about your pet on the other side of the door . They were doing a blood draw on my dog , and as he was obviously very scared and nervous ; Staff seemed to make it more of a joke. Stating"I’m not even doing anything yet " Rather than calming my dog, possibly saying it’s okay , or calling him by his name to relax him. I also heard possibly the same girl or another staff member saying, "can you stop kicking me with your back legs? You’re scratching the crap out of me. " obviously, my dog was a bit uncomfortable, especially while being held trying to get a blood draw and doesn’t seem like they did very much as comfort rather than banter with him. Mind you he is a total of 6 lbs. They should probably be a little more professional. Especially, when the owner is already distraught bringing their pet in there if they’re sick and they are just on the other side of a very thin door , able to hear the entire conversation . Also, I gave the medical assistant a version of the incident, and she narrated it and twisted it and put her own words. As I could also hear . Making it seem as if I was unsure of incident that caused us to be there . When indeed I stated it completely correct when telling the assistant to begin with .

I had to take my labrador to this vet office for a same day appointment because my usual vet was full. My pet’s situation morphed into an emergency. Due to snowy weather, a slew of cancellations, and the surgeon being on site that day, my pet was able to recieve definitive care right away, because the Long Lake staff didn't hesitate to offer help to her. I saw two vets, one very pleasant female vet (I forgot her name) and the following day (we had to return for a repeat X-ray for the diagnosis), Dr Williams operated on my dog. All the staff, were friendly and clear about treatment plans and options, what to expect with each, and pricing and possible outcomes. The ancillary staff, especially Dr. Williams’ surgical tech, and the front desk staff, were stellar communicators. I am so grateful for the Long Lake staff and their life saving care to my dog! Lastly I would note that, this office was under different management in the past, and I had received care for a previous pet a few years ago. The new staff and vets are 5 stars. Thanks again Long Lake Animal Hospital!

Dr Johanna Hopkins is an air head she said and did a whole lot of nothing for my cat. i came in for my cats stress and needed a checkup, the assistant for the dr couldn’t even get the heart beat OR weight of my cat, (literally made me put him on the scale) didn’t even try to touch him said he was too "feral" and we’d need to reschedule. their muzzle was a plastic cup with rigid holes at the end.. they did not know how to handle the cat in ANY way and she even thru a feliway spray towel on my cat and said "he wants to be under there"???? and yes we can all hear you guys back there talking about your clients😭😭

I have been coming here since the early 2000’s with our family animals. I brought my first cat here, BEFORE their new management. She got fixed. Had to bring her back she popped stitches. They took her, put staples in my baby with NO pain meds, gave her right back. I haven’t been back since, (2010) BUT I’m surely hoping under new staff and management that they will truly take care of my new fur babies moving forward. Old Longlake SUCKED. I’m sure the new Longlake is 10x’s better. I look forward to doing business with youse.

I was referred to this vet by a friend after getting my first kitten and I’ve been going here since. They’ve now taken care of all 3 of my babies who are happy and most importantly healthy. All of the staff were kind, knowledgeable and punctual. The waits aren’t bad (considering it is a doctor’s office, so I assume to wait) and is always worth it. I had tons of questions and Hannah was so sweet and helpful, she didn’t rush me and went above and beyond to help me with any concerns or questions I had. She was extra sweet to my babies which is a big thing for me when it comes to finding the right vet for my pets. I’ve been coming here since before the old doctor left and although there are some changes I have high hopes to see where this place goes especially because they kept the old staff who are all so so nice (which is one of my favorite reasons for going). Great prices for quality work! I have not had a single problem with them and they always made it clear that if I did that they would do everything they could to help. It isn’t the biggest facility but the people like Hannah and quality work and care make up for it!!👍🏼😍
