Westshore Animal Hospital

I brought my newly adopted dog, Butters, to Westshore Animal Hospital and had such a great experience from start to finish. They gave him a very thorough exam, answered every question I had in detail and also provided helpful handouts so I had resources to leave with especially for his diet. I appreciated the transparency and education they provided. Dr. Pierce never pressured me into vaccines and instead took the time to explain the purpose and importance of each one along with what types of lifestyles or risk factors would make them appropriate. Kaity gave us a tour of the facility and showed Butters so much love and attention Thank you to Kaity, Dr. Pierce and all of the staff for their kindness, patience, and compassion. You can tell they genuinely care about both the pets and their owners. They also sent us a wonderful card to thank us for choosing them which was a lovely touch. I appreciated the little picture they drew of him which matched his face perfectly!

When you love your fur babies, you treat them well and ensure they have the best care possible. Each of these beauties were rescues so we don’t always know their pasts but we do know is their anxieties and personalities bloom when they feel good. Most recently, Harley has seasonal allergies that impact his skin. He was itchy and tired but not any more! Thank you to the team of caring and smart people- he is on the path to wellness.

Westshore animal hospital is the best! The staff is sooo kind and knowledgeable. Nurses Josh and Aria are fantastic and great with my pups & Preston at the front desk always gives us such a warm greeting and makes sure we are comfortable. Dr. Pierce & Dr. Welsh are very compassionate and amazing at what they do, i love the close attention and care that my doggie gets when we are here (he gets so much lovins and compliments, he loves it!) 10/10 will always recommend Westshore animal hospital.

Westshore Animal Hospital has been nothing short of amazing for our whole little crew. After Ozzie’s foster mom recommended them to us, we decided to give them a try and we couldn’t be happier. From the very first phone call, the staff was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. The front desk team is truly wonderful; they make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in or even just call with a question. Our visits with Ozzie have been great. He can be a little nervous, but the staff treated him with such gentleness and patience that he relaxed almost right away. More recently, we had to bring in our cat David, and once again the team was incredible. They were prompt, attentive, and so caring throughout the entire visit. Their compassion really shines through in everything they do. We also recently adopted a 7-year-old chihuahua, Annie. Even though they haven’t seen her yet, they got her scheduled quickly and made us feel completely taken care of from the very first interaction. Their communication is always clear, friendly, and reassuring. You truly get what you pay for, and the level of service at Westshore Animal Hospital is worth every bit. The entire experience from the first phone call to the moment you leave their office has been exceptional for every one of our pets. We are so grateful to have found them and can’t recommend them enough!

I can’t say enough great things about this establishment. Since moving to Tampa four years ago, we tried a few different vets before finally landing on Westshore Animal Hospital and we’re so glad we did. The entire staff is wonderful, the hospitality is amazing, and the cleanliness of the facility always stands out. Everyone has been incredibly kind and welcoming during our visits. I’d especially like to thank Dr. Walsh, Aria, and Genesis. They’ve consistently been so kind, thorough, and attentive whenever Toby comes in. That said, the entire team has always been thoughtful and professional. I highly recommend this place ten times over. It’s truly a fantastic place to bring your fur babies!

I was so fortunate to find Westshore Animal Hospital after my last vet moved. My four year old Ragdolls have received the best care possible there They have seen Drs. DeGale, Walsh and most recently Spencer. Each has been caring, knowledgeable and thorough during critical care and routine visits. They never seem to rush their visits and seem to enjoy spending time with my boys. They provide excellent advice for my pica cat. They spend time on the floor with my guys observing. My boys seem to enjoy going to the vet and seeing their doctors and vet tech Holly who gushes over them. Expect compassion and love when you go here!

A vet your pet needs! They only work on Dogs & Cats by walk-in and appointments. Amazing staff that is really here for your lovely pets that we love on a day to day basis. Emma is outstanding at her job. An this vet is well trusted to be a primary vet for your pets if looking for one. Asking questions gets things done! I was able to take a tour for my 1st time and it was everything and beyond. They have everything from Pharmacy, Dietary medical Supplements, dental surgery, surgeries and x-rays and more. So if you have anything from A-Z wrong with your dog or cat this place will definitely take care of you. I was a little concerned about price but i was more relaxed at Emma concerned about the best for my dog! And working with us pet owners is top tier in my book.
