VEG ER for Pets

Dr. Wood and Hannah made me feel like they could do anything. So helpful, caring and knowledgeable. They went well out of their way to make me comfortable in a most stressful situation. There were dayside doctors and staff that also contributed to Beau’s recovery. Amazing, all in their own right. I will recommend VEG to all my family, co workers and friends. Thank you for saving my best friend’s life. I can never thank you all enough.

The VEG team at S. Dale Marbury is consistently attentive, warm, loving, and professional to my baby and her needs. They allow me to stay with her, answer my questions and address concerns promptly. Even though visits to the ER are most stressful, the team at VEG SDM make it a stable and safe experience. Dr. KEVIN and Dr. SHELBY and the front desk team. Incredible collaboration and care.

This location should be recognized for the highest award there is by the CEO themself with such amazing staff that actually care and made the pet owner (me) feel heard and understood throughout the entire process! Dr. Woods explained everything that would take place in my pet having an c section from start to finish! I have never been through anything like this and it was amazing to see the entire staff coming together to help bring life in the world! Dr. Woods and Alexis definitely should get a raise and the highest award there is to reflect such dedication and hard work of their jobs! I can’t put into words seeing them in action so attentively and detailed! I want to thank this location from the bottom of my heart for taking such GREAT care of my dog and valuing their customers!

I had an emergency with one of my schnauzers & I found this place in a state of panic as I just recently moved here a month ago. They took great care of my baby and did not have me wait. They were so quick and efficient!! Prices are reasonable but keep in mind it’s an ER so they are obviously a little higher but they work with you. They did not just send me home without making sure my Bella was okay I cant thank them enough. Follow up calls afterwards were made which were appreciated. Everyone was so nice! From Dr. V and Nurse Alexis to yesterday 2/16 when I went to pick up Bellas food both ladies were SO NICE! Thank You so much for taking care of my Bella. I will always recommend this place to all dog parents!

The whole experience at the VEG Emergency was just awesome. The Vet Dr.Besheer was so kind and patient and compassionate. He was so gentle with Bella and the rest of the team were also compassionate . It take a special people to do the job the jobs they do. I had to put my Bernese Mountain Dog down it was the worst day of my life. I loved her so very much. I miss her terribly and I am so glad to have the people like the VEG Emergency Center.

We’ve taken our 15-year-old Maltipoo, Simba, to VEG ER three times over the past two months, and every visit has been met with incredible care. The entire team was always helpful, patient, and so kind to both us and our sweet old boy. We saw Dr. Thomas twice and Dr. Kahn once—loved them both! Nurse Hannah, Kelly, and Katherine took such great care of Simba, and CECs Bonnie and Kalyn were wonderful as well. Thank you all—Simba is doing well again because of you! We would highly recommend VEG ER to anyone in need of compassionate emergency pet care.

I had a great experience at VEG South Tampa yesterday. I brought my morkie in to get checked because she was throwing up for 24 hours. Mikayla at the front desk was so kind, empathetic, and prompt with each patient that came in. My dog was in triage shortly after check in. Within the hour, it went from calm to extremely busy. With that being said, please note that your case will be pushed back if your pet is stable & there are more critical cases that are brought in! As someone who is a pet owner and lover, I completely understand and if my pet were in critical condition, I really hope that they’d prioritize that! The wait times could be long, but they do give you the option to leave your dog in the kennels and come back when results are ready. They offer snacks and drinks in the lobby if you decide to stay! Dr. Moses did great assessing my dog, but Dr. Davison took over by the end of the night. As I watched 10 or more people shuffle in and out, I witnessed Dr. Davison explain in great detail the plan of care for each and every animal, all of which was explained with deep compassion for whatever the situation entailed. Every question and concern answered without any pressure to make certain decisions. We need more vets like this! Estevan was my nurse and he did a great job making sure my dog was okay to leave and had everything she needed. Thank you to the team at VEG South Tampa for a great experience under not so great circumstances.
