Both my dog Mila and I had such a great experience with Dr. Nelson and her incredible tech. The entire staff really was very friendly and professional as well. Both Dr. Nelson & her tech were kind, thorough and seemed to really care about the patient and helping to solve the problem. Being in the pet care industry I have experienced a lot of vet offices, vets & vetmed environments and this has been one of the best experiences for us. Thank you all!

Absolutely amazing people! Im grateful they were available when I needed someone to help me with my pup in an emergency. Sunni is absolutely doing great since her visit! Thank you so much helping us get Sunni back to her spunky loving self again! Their ability to pick up a phone consistently is spot on and they remain professional and calm at all times and yet very understanding and kind.

We took our 2 yr old dog there and told them we thought she had something up her nose. They kept her for 3-4 hours and basically did nothing except lab work. They said they couldn’t look up her nose and gave us an antibiotic. Told us to call if it didn’t improve. $1200+. We then took her to her normal vet on Monday (3 days later). she scoped her and got out 5-7 toothpick size or slightly bigger pieces of grass/weeds. 1/2 the price. It seems the ER clinic would not listen to us but our vet in Sandpoint did. I won’t go back there. Very poor customer service.

They helped me once again with my boy. He had to stay overnight, I got texts and pictures. Thank you for the amazing care and aftercare.

Staff and Vets were helpful and knowledgeable, but business felt very corporate. Everything is about 2x cost of a regular visit. X-ray and some pills were $750 ($200 visitation fee + plus the stuff). It was good to find out what was up faster than waiting til the next day, and that is pretty much what is being upselled. Just felt like some business owner was taking more of a cut than needed.

We have a sick cat that had to be in the hospital for 3 days. We made an appt with internal medicine for follow up and they did nothing and charged us $215. We’ve already paid over $5k for our cat and it feels like they’re just trying to take all the money they can. When I asked for a refund they said they couldn’t and that they don’t set the price the vet does. We saw Whitney Nelson. It seems like they are taking advantage of owners who love their pets and would do anything for them. No blood work was done today, it would have been an extra $400. And when asked if we could do it somewhere else and have them look at it, they said yes but we would be charged again. Guys, we’re not made out of money and have gone into debt because we love our cat so much. STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THAT. PLEASE.
