Pet Urgent Care of Spokane

This place took us last min befor they closed! The lovely wait time estimates we got from the other er vets in town ranged from 2-4hrs!! Just to be seen, and we would have had to be their/leave her there and thats when that 2-4hr timmer would begin its count down... The urgent care let us have a time slot to come in and the wait was nothing compared to the stress for both us and my poor pup of that kinda of er wait...and the vet technician was extremely friendly and equally worried, the doctor was just a wonderful, and even the receptionist was beyond oh so nice and open, had a very comfortable and even calming chit chat while waiting, my girl is 12 w/ cancer-arthritis-wieght struggles-ect and when big things like this happen its very hard to know if its time to prepare for the worst.. so just the receptionist energy was comforting enough to remember to be focusing on the good instead. Thankfully this was just a bit of dental troubles, which still suck/exspenive, but fixable still! They gave a time frame of at least a few days before swelling went down, well the next morning after the meds & compresses her eye went from being fully shut to opening more then half way!! Their prices were acctually rather reasonable as well. Will be my back up to my "primary vet" from now on!! Thank you guys

I brought a neighbor and her cat here today during a very stressful situation, and I cannot say enough good things about the care and kindness we received. Hannah at the front desk was absolutely amazing. I explained some complicated circumstances to her, and she was incredibly understanding and accommodating from the very beginning. While we were waiting, I overheard Dr. Daniel Bastian speaking with another client about their dog. The compassion and kindness in his voice honestly warmed my heart. You could tell he truly cared. Jenn at the front desk kindly offered me water when I really needed it, and throughout the visit we were treated more like welcomed guests than customers. Finally, Quinn came in to speak with us and again treated both of us with such respect, compassion, and kindness. I was genuinely so impressed by the care shown to us and to every animal I saw while we were there today. It took so much stress out of an incredibly difficult situation, and I truly cannot express my gratitude enough

Very disappointing experience. We were initially told by the receptionist we had to come back for an appointment to receive the care our dog needed, when I asked if we should go to the pet ER down the block, we were discouraged and told they would "do a better job here," despite the clinics being somewhat affiliated. Dr. Jessica Sanders lacked empathy and bedside manner, repeatedly expressing how bad our dog’s condition looked and judging the situation that brought us in, which created unnecessary fear and lack of trust. She was "positive" it was an abscess after a dog bite yet only recommended a FNA and provided no actual treatment besides medication. We also mistakenly got charged for an injection we didn’t receive, but were given a refund promptly the next day. We ultimately went to a completely different pet ER where they took the time to listen and determined our dog’s condition was not what we were initially told by Dr. Sanders. We left this clinic feeling uncomfortable with a majority of the interaction.

I made an appointment online and came about 15 minutes early, we were running right on schedule! I can’t over state how kind and understanding the staff is here. I was worried about my cat because he had ingrown claws and they took care of them so quickly and my cat doesn’t seem traumatized. My cat even talked to them a little (which he never does outside of home) so I think he got good vibes from everyone. I have never had to take a pet to an urgent care before so I was unsure of the cost (but of course I’ll pay what I have to!) and it was so so reasonable especially because they sent me home with medications as well as instructions, the quality of care is impeccable— they were flexible with different options of how they could help and made sure to ask what I would be comfortable with as well as my cat. I hope I don’t have another need for an urgent care for my pets but if I do it would choose this place 100 times over!!

We had the BEST experience taking our goldendoodle here. Our sweet guy has a lot of energy and can be difficult to calm down, but the staff here was friendly, helpful, and expressed genuine concern. From the front desk ladies, to the tech, and vet, we were impressed and felt as though our dog was well taken care of.

Dr. Sanders took such good care of my cat and is the best vet I’ve ever interacted with. Usually my cat is hissing and fighting but they had the secret touch to keep her calm the entire time, even when giving her a shot. You can tell that she truly cares so much about her job and the animals, and her vet assistant was amazing too. Definitely returning if I ever need to again.

Brought my cat here on a Saturday and they got me in same day. Vet and vet assistants were very friendly and explained everything clearly. They gave us an estimate for the services provided. Very happy with the experience here and would recommend to anyone needing urgent help with their pet.
