I wasn’t able to get ahold of our regular vet and reached out to Hunters about an urgent medical issue with our dog. They were able to get her in the same day, which we really appreciated. I dropped her off that morning and received a call later in the afternoon asking us to come in and speak with the doctor that evening. We learned that Dr. Schrag had been observing her throughout the day to make sure he had the most accurate diagnosis possible. While it wasn’t the diagnosis we were hoping for, we truly appreciated the time and care he took to thoroughly evaluate her and explain everything to us. Dr. Schrag has completely won us over, and we’ll be bringing all of our animals here from now on. The front desk staff were also incredibly kind and helpful during a really difficult situation. It meant a lot to feel like everyone there genuinely cared about getting us answers and making sure we understood all of our options. Being able to get her in the same day made a huge difference for us. The pricing was also incredibly reasonable. Thank you to everyone at Hunters for your compassion and care.

I cannot say enough good things about this vet! Dr Schrag took care of my soul kitty I lost a few years back. He did both surgeries he had for removing hair ties and plastic from his stomach (thought he was a dog) and his end of life care at 7 years old. When I picked this kitten up off the street at about 5 or 6 months old, you can imagine my shock when I came home to her little body birthing a fetus when we didn't know she was pregnant or could get pregnant that young. They were my first call. By some miracle they had my newest friend in there 45 minutes later to take care of her and her unexpected pregnancy. Thank goodness for his soft spot for siamese and the whole staffs willingness to help. They absolutely saved my little kitty Saffie. Cannot recommend them enough. Knowledgeable, trustworthy, and kind.

I’ve been coming to this clinic since Dr Hunter was still in practice and love both Dr Shrag’s. The scheduling is a little different but it works. They have been great every time I see them and I trust them. A lot of people complain about having to pay for veterinary care but I have always found their prices reasonable. My dog is family to me and she’s worth the cost that’s expected with owning a pet. In the past I considered changing to a vet that has weekend appointments but Hunter is flexible. Pets can be dropped off for all or part of the day, seen by the vet and picked up when convenient for the owner. I will stick with them as long as I am a pet owner.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Hunter Veterinary Clinic took amazing care of my girl Lady today. She’s usually very high-anxiety at the vet, but everyone there understood her completely and treated her with so much patience and kindness. The vet techs and doctors were wonderful with her, gentle, reassuring, and really attentive to her needs. Even the front desk staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Lady felt completely at ease with them, which meant a lot to me. Their pricing was also amazing, which I truly appreciate. I’m so grateful for the care they gave her. I've been going to hunters for years and have never had a bad experience. They have taken great care of my dogs, cat, me, and my partner. I went there once in an emergency years ago and I immediately started using them for everything, because I've never trusted a vet like I do them. They are also flexible and make access to pet care more affordable. This is not just a job to them, it's their way of life and their priority, and it's very obvious.

Very poor experience, very poor customer service very little compassion or care for animals. I rescued a dog that was very sick and took her in. I was given antibiotics for five days and told someone would call me to schedule a surgery to address the oral infection/issues. I called back twice over the next three days as no one had contacted me to schedule the surgery. When someone finally did they weren’t able to get her in for two weeks and said additional antibiotics would not be needed in the meantime. Both the bladder and tooth infection returned immediately after the antibiotics ran out so I called to get more and was told I needed to wait 24 hours as this was nothing more than a prescription refill request. They clearly do not realize how sick this dog is. I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would get back to me when they had time. I have canceled the surgery and am looking for a new vet.

Where do we begin. We live in Moses lake and our 15 y/o dog has always been seen by hunters. When she was in severe distress we called and they were able to get us in first thing the next morning. They were willing to see us that evening if we could make it. In a large metropolitan place like Spokane it’s hard to find a good vet to care for your family member especially on a short notice like this. I personally highly recommend hunters vet they are compassionate and caring and truly understand the financial expense that comes with pet care and are upfront and honest with no hidden screw jobs.
