They did awesome! I brought my bearded dragon in today. Dr. Gerds addressed all my concerns with informative answers and handled my boy with care. The staff is friendly and the place is kept clean and tidy.

We used them as our vet for the past 3 years but our most recent encounter left a sour taste in our mouth and is causing us to leave. We were called this past Friday at 6pm (they close at 7pm) notifying us that our dog was due to schedule his booster vaccine - we were out of town for MDW so I was unable to take the call or return it during their hours since they were also closed Sunday & Monday for the holiday. I called today to schedule that booster and was notified that I was outside the 4 week window and would have to restart the series. I proceeded to ask that when exactly the vaccine was due she said Sunday; I then asked what their typical window for reminders is and she said 2 weeks but that their system was backed up so they notified us "as soon as they could." I continued to ask how I was supposed to 1) Know that it was due so soon and 2) Get something scheduled within 24 hours. I am unsure who I was speaking to on the phone but whoever it was, did not handle the situation properly - she was rude, short with me, she called me an irresponsible pet owner and that "I should have known" his booster was due. Due to their lack of communication and horrible telephone manner we unfortunately will not be going back to them or recommending them in the future for anyone searching for a veterinarian in the area.

We love our vet they treat our pets like they’re their own. Our cat was acting weird and we brought him in and he needed emergency surgery and they got him in within a few hours. We went in for checkups and shots today and one of the vet techs asked if Seymour was here. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else! Please enjoy photos of my cats at the vet. We have also taken our bearded dragon here and they provided excellent care for her as well ❤️

Dr. Gerds is absolutely wonderful! Everyone from the Dr to the veterinary assistants to the ladies at the front desk are so kind and helpful. My 2 bearded dragons were diagnosed with parasite infections and the Dr answered all my questions and made this stressful situation so much easier to deal with. The vet assistants are also very knowledgeable and everyone at the clinic really loves and cares for each animal that comes through their doors. While waiting for test results we stepped outside and the lady at the front desk let our little Mel sit up on the desk with her so he wouldn't get scared, she really went out of her way for him and for us! I highly highly highly recommend bringing your little friends here for care, they'll be in great hands 🙂

They are such kind people. I walked in with out an appointment in distress over my sugar gliders infected eye. They took him in even though they were booked solid. Within a few hours my old man had antibiotics, pain meds and a plan. All at a very reasonable cost! Sadly the eye could not be saved. The cost of surgery and medication came out to be $400 less than what I was quoted at a clinic in St Paul. So glad I found Advanced Care Pet Hospital. The old man is doing great. And we have a follow up scheduled in 2 weeks to take the stitches out.

Staff are incredibly friendly and super compassionate. Our dog has a blast whenever we go (which, who can really say thag their dog enjoys going to the vet?) and when our older dog passed earlier this year, everyone was very gentle with us as we said our goodbyes and we even received a handwritten card in the mail expressing condolences for our loss.

They were there at the hardest time of my life when I was losing my cat of 15 years I couldn’t have asked for a better vet and a better doctor to help me through such a terrible time I found this, but after not being happy with my previous respect I will never go anywhere else, but this place and I will recommend everybody I know to go here, Customer Service is out of this world phenomenal thank you for making Puss in boots last few Moments the best they could possibly be.
