Trip 45 minutes away and first time in Waite Park appointment cancelled. Second trip was told too early for vaccines when I specifically asked prior to appointment. Didn’t even get refills my pet needed because wanted to avoid high exam required for renewal prescription. And…… wellness plan members please read fine print. My previous dog’s plan renewed in March and he passed in April but still had to pay for the entire year. What a scam. Will be moving my business local.

If you care for pet do NOT go here. Never answer their phones and have to leave a message. So then you get to play phone tag. If for miracle reason you do get appointment they will call you back 4 hours and cancel. They had opened a second clinic and then was going to have petsmart clinic for emergency's and then all sudden the petsmart clinic shutsdown. Now I get email to schedule a dental appointment. I can not even get a appointment for a nail trimming. Good thing this was not a emergency. Very unprofessional and inappropriate way to conduct business.

I took my two dogs to Banfield in Waite Park for the first time today to get them established since we just moved here. It was a very pleasant visit from scheduling the first appointment, to checking in, to the visit itself, and scheduling the next visit. The front staff were extremely accommodating, mindful, and empathetic to my reactive dogs, and assisted with the check in process so my boys had minimal dog encounters before getting to the room. That was really meaningful, and I was very appreciative of it. Dr Lien and her vet tech (I really wish I could remember her name because she was so lovely) were informational and very compassionate towards my two little guys. It was exponentially clear that they do their jobs because they genuinely love animals. My boys needed some extra attention in a couple areas, and Dr Lien and her team helped me address my pups’ needs and develop a plan that prioritized my dogs health, and also helped do so in a financially digestible way. I loved our first visit. I am so happy to have this as our new primary vet for my dogs. I highly recommend. A very positive, knowledgeable, and compassionate experience.

We Love it at Banfield Pet Hospital. They took great care of our furr babies, they were gentle and loving. The pricing was great loved the affordable plans.

Had to take my new kitten here after he'd started severely limping and was lethargic all day, and was super impressed with the care I received here. They got me in immediately (Saturday evening), and found out he had a 105 degree fever in addition to his limp. I got sent home with antibiotics and pain meds - a few days later he was completely back to normal! For my cat it was $280 for an emergency exam, but all the medications were very reasonably priced and my final bill was less than $350, which, for an emergency vet, I think is quite reasonable. All of the staff had wonderful bedside manner (I wish I could remember all of their names to compliment them) and I would absolutely go here again in the future and recommend it to others.

I've been taking my dog to Banfield Pet Hospital for years, and I'm consistently impressed with the level of care they provide. The staff is always friendly and professional, and they clearly love animals. What I appreciate most is their wellness plans, which make it easy to budget for my dog's routine care and ensure she stays healthy year-round. The vets take the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer all my questions. I highly recommend Banfield to any pet owner looking for quality veterinary care.

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience at Banfield Pet Hospital and will not be returning. I dropped my dogs off at 7:30 AM—one for a dental cleaning with anesthesia and vaccines, and the other for a routine checkup and vaccines. I personally checked them in and confirmed that my phone number was the contact number. My number was also written on their clinic collars. I waited all day with no updates. Around 2:00 PM, I finally called for a status update, only to be told by Dr. Lyerly that she had already called me an hour earlier. This was simply not true—I had no missed calls or voicemail and I had my phone with me constantly. When I questioned this, I was then told she had contacted the primary account holder (my husband), which was also not true. He received no call or voicemail either. This is especially concerning given that I was the one who checked them in and provided my contact information. This is the second time I’ve experienced communication issues like this at this location. What is most disappointing is not just the lack of communication, but being given conflicting and inaccurate explanations when I asked about it. When a pet is under anesthesia, timely and accurate communication is not optional—it is essential. This experience has completely eroded my trust in Dr. Lyerly and Banfield in general, and we will no longer be doing business here. I strongly encourage management to address these issues so other pet owners do not have a similar experience.
