AHSS is awesome! The staff is always friendly, never rush you, and make you feel loved along with your pet. Dr. Ballowe is the best for guinea pig care! She always follows through and follows up. I drive two hours each way for their care and expertise.

I can’t believe I haven’t left a review for this practice somehow. I absolutely adore this practice and recommend them to everyone who is looking for a vet for their cats, dogs, or guinea pigs. I followed Dr. Still from her previous practice to this location, as she is just so incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She listens to every concern and really walks you through all of the possible treatment options. She’s been seeing my guinea pigs for ages, and tried so many different treatments when I had a guinea pig with a chronic treatment-resistant illness. Her bedside manner is wonderful. She’s always willing to admit when something is outside of what she feels comfortable doing, however, 99% of the time she’s able to work with my little critters. She and Dr Ahern managed to get two urinary stones out of one of my guinea pigs for literally like 1/5th of the cost I expected. The staff here is wonderful, I haven’t run into a single individual who hasn’t been friendly and professional. Again, I truly can’t recommend them enough. Included guinea pig photo tax 😂

I can't say enough good things about this place and their staff. They are hands down the most caring, efficient, and honest group of veterinarians I have ever worked with. They treat every animal that comes in like family. I have been coming here for over a year with 3 different pets on different health journeys. This is a really special place, they are leagues above!!

They have always taken the best care of my pup, Dolly! They were all exceptional in getting rid of her heart worms, which was a pretty scary experience for me. Comforting and always communicative.

I don't know what we would do without such great vet techs! My cat is such a moody girl, but they always handle her nail trims so well.

My dog was suffering from a bladder stone and after waiting 90 minutes, I was told that it would be another 3 hours and that if I left, I would lose my place in line. I should have been informed immediately that they were unable to see me... I would have never stayed. The next vet that I saw ended her pain and she was euthanized.

Great friendly service! Highly recommend.
