Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs

We are beyond grateful for the incredible care our dog received here during a true emergency. The team acted quickly and performed a lifesaving splenectomy to remove a mass, all while showing so much compassion and professionalism. The vets explained everything clearly and kept us informed every step of the way. We truly felt our dog was in the best hands. I would highly recommend this emergency center to anyone facing a scary situation with their pet. 🐾💙

We had a good experience at Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs with our baby. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and seen quickly. They took excellent care of our dog and all the techs and Dr we encountered were kind, caring, and understanding. The Dr came in after the examination and explained the injury and suggested care very well. We left better than when we came and with helpful and clear care guidelines, medicines, and follow up instructions. I would whole heartedly recommend this animal hospital to others.

I cannot say enough good things about the Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs. I came in absolutely terrified for my kitty, and from the moment I arrived, they immediately helped calm me down. The entire staff was incredibly kind, compassionate, and reassuring during a very stressful situation. Dr. Slider, DVM, along with the rest of the team, took excellent care of my cat and explained everything thoroughly, making sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. I never felt rushed or dismissed, and it was clear how much they truly care about both pets and their owners. If I ever have another pet emergency, I will absolutely come back here. I’m so grateful for the care they provided and getting my kitty back to good health.

My dog went from seeming "off" last weekend, to obviously sick on Sunday night, to very sick late Sunday night. I made the decision to not wait to wait to see his regular vet on Monday morning and took him to Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs late Sunday, and thank god I did. He was much sicker than I realized. Dr. Landrum explained clearly what was going on, exactly what the treatment should be, and the prognosis. He was incredibly reassuring and compassionate. His tone and bedside manner really eased my anxiety and instead of leaving distraught, I left thankful. I picked my dog up yesterday and he is on the mend with clear recovery instructions and medications. You never want to find yourself in need of an emergency vet, but if you do, Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs is the place to go! Thank you Dr. Landrum and team for taking such great care of Chief!!!

Pricing was transparent and incredibly fair. I came in with my cat that I was worried had gotten into something. They were transparent that they could do the blood test but he appeared fine and let me know about the infection in his mouth. My cat is, in fact, fine and his mouth is healing. It was nice to feel heard and I felt like my cat was cared for and I wasn’t encouraged to do unnecessary testing. I will be using them for the foreseeable future in any emergency veterinary needs.(hopefully none, but life happens)

MOST AMAZING PLACE EVER! The vets & staff here are so incredibly kind, patient, thorough, caring, & knowledgeable. I wanted to give a specific shoutout to Megan & Dr. Jessica. We have five cats & two dogs & this is our go to place for any emergencies. Place is kept clean & does not smell weird. Extremely reasonable prices & they’re always so happy to explain things & answer any questions you may have. If I could give this place 100 stars I would, but five stars is the best option for this. Thank you so much for always taking care of our babies & being so kind to us. We can truly feel that they genuinely care. *DO NOT GO TO BLUE PEARL OR VETERINARY EMERGENCY GROUP. TRUST ME!!!! THEY DONT CARE & CHARGE CRAZY PRICES TO TREAT YOUR FUR BABIES.*

12/10! Came home from vacation to my dog having a new weird spot on his neck. The team at AECSS were incredibly kind and patient with my pup and with me. They took the time to fully check him out and explain everything to me. Truly couldn't recommend this group more!
