Initially brought our Bear in for emergency assessment for an eye issue. I am impressed with the personal attention we received that big er clinics no longer provide, I,e. the inability to directly speak with the nurse attending your fur baby or get messages to and from the doctor quickly. We had to bring Bear back to see Dr. Audrey Hudson, the ophthalmologist. She is EXCELLENT! Always so patient and kind! Addressed all our concerns and personally called us back to answer a question we had after the appointment. That to us is the personal care I missed from the old days. THANK YOU DR. HUDSON!!
Exceptional Specialized Care and True Compassion. After a disappointing experience at another emergency clinic where we felt the level of expertise was lacking, finding Omega Veterinary Group was a godsend. From the very first phone call, the professionalism and care were evident. We initially met with Ben, the Surgical Nurse, who was incredibly thorough and put us at ease right away. Meeting Dr. Caleb Hudson solidified that we were in the right place. Dr. Hudson is clearly a leader in his field—his expertise in advanced orthopedic and minimally invasive surgery is world-class, but it’s his bedside manner that truly sets him apart. After her surgery, our dog required weekly follow-up appointments for cast changes, and every single member of the staff treated us with genuine kindness. They weren't just focused on the clinical side; they were truly interested in our dog’s comfort and emotional well-being throughout the recovery process. If you are looking for a practice that combines cutting-edge veterinary medicine with a heart, I cannot recommend Dr. Hudson and the entire Omega team highly enough.
Dr. Stephen Jones is an exceptional veterinarian/surgeon and an even better person. I am incredibly grateful to have found him. My dog, Chester, struggled with chronic ankle pain for years, and I spent a long time trying to determine the best way to help him. We explored every possible option before finding Dr. Jones, and from the very beginning, he was thoughtful, thorough, and deeply compassionate. He genuinely cares about his patients and took the time to truly listen to my concerns, clearly explain our options, and help me feel confident in the decisions we made. I drove all the way from Park City,UT to California because I knew his expertise, skill, and level of care would give Chester the best possible outcome—and it was absolutely worth it. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Jones and his entire team more highly. Thank you for everything.
An emergency situation came up with my young cat and i was recommended by my normal veterinary service to reach out to Omega Vet Group. In my time of need they were very accommodating and handled the situation phenomenally. Amazing service and very communicative about the steps in my pet’s care. Regarding pricing, they are very upfront about the service and possible prices. In my case they took a deposit of the possible pricing towards the low end and even refunded part of the payment after the fact.
I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Ashley Hechler at Omega Vet Group. Prior to seeing her, my pet was treated by another neurologist in the area, and unfortunately, that experience was a complete disaster. Finding Dr. Hechler truly felt like a godsend. She is incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to walk me through every option in detail, and made sure I fully understood the path forward. What really sets her apart is her bedside manner—she is warm, personable, and genuinely listens. Her calm, positive energy immediately put both me and my pet at ease during a very stressful time. I also want to highlight how wonderful Omega Vet Group is as a clinic. The space is spotless, the staff is kind and attentive, and the overall environment has such a caring, welcoming vibe. You can tell the entire team is committed to providing exceptional care. I’m deeply grateful for the level of expertise, compassion, and attention we received. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Hechler and Omega Vet Group to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care.
I brought my cat to this hospital because he was limping after being startled by a loud noise and running behind furniture. Before the appointment, I explained that although he had initially not been eating, his appetite had already returned and was steadily improving. By the time of the visit, he was moving around again and was back to eating normally. The hospital noted that they did not observe clear signs of limping during the visit, but also mentioned he was not really walking around much, possibly due to anxiety in the clinic environment. Unfortunately, I felt that the staff did not listen to the information I provided or focus on the primary reason for the visit. Despite repeatedly explaining that his appetite had returned, the team remained focused on concerns about not eating, blood in the urine, lethargy, and a variety of serious conditions including infections, stones, tumors, and cancer. When I asked multiple times about the limp, I was told it was low on their list of concerns. I was presented with recommendations for extensive diagnostic testing, including lab work, urinalysis, and multiple X-rays, with estimates exceeding $2,000. Throughout the discussion, I felt significant emphasis was placed on worst-case scenarios, hospitalization, surgery, and the possibility that my cat's condition could become much more serious. While I understand that veterinarians must discuss potential concerns, I did not feel that my observations as the owner were being given appropriate consideration. I ultimately paid over $300+ for the consultation and fluid administration and left feeling that the original reason for my visit had not been adequately addressed. My frustration is not that diagnostic testing was offered, but that I felt unheard throughout the appointment and that the discussion focused more on expensive possibilities than the issue I brought my cat in to have evaluated. I hope the hospital reviews its approach to client communication and takes greater care to listen to pet owners' concerns and the information they provide.
If you're reading this, my heart goes out to you. You're probably concerned for your pet, trying to find the best care and get some answers, frustrated and stressed by the serious financial stress that comes with it. Toward the end of her life, I'd taken my cat to 4 different vets in the area, desperate to find answers. All of them were happy to charge gratuitous exam fees, run expensive tests, and send us home without any real guidance or solutions. I wish we'd found Omega sooner. Animal hospitals are unavoidably expensive and stressful, and depending on the time of day and your pet's stability you can expect to wait a few hours to see the vet, but I cannot stress enough what matters most: the entire staff here were superlatively professional, compassionate and considerate, and Dr. Hutton is by far the most competent, caring, and knowledgeable veterinarian I've met anywhere. The day my cat passed was the worst day, but I can say confidently that she was in the most capable hands available. I'll say it again: I wish we'd found Omega sooner. Her name was Cuckoobean. She was my little furry best friend for 13 years and I miss her tremendously. I thought we'd have more time. After she passed, we got a card in the mail. The entire staff took the time to express their condolences. Those are the type of people you want taking care of your family. Thanks to all of you. I'm grateful we had you at the end.
