North peninsula vet emergency clinic was pretty amazing with our 11 month old kitty. Lorenzo was deathly ill due to urinary crystals (we brought him in at 4:30 am) and they truly showed great care, plus worked with me to keep the costs reasonable. They put the well being of Lorenzo first and I truly am thankful for this. The vets were both outstanding and very caring. Thank you.
Our 13 year old GSD, the absolute sweetest girl, was taken to this vet clinic on a Tues evening due to lethargy and lack of appetite. After and ultrasound, the vet gave us all of the information we needed to make an informed decision and also allowed us to take as much time as we needed to gather her family to say goodbye. Although it was 12 hours later before we were ready to let her go, our vet stayed late and made sure to administer the medication himself, showing great love and care. While it was the worst of outcomes for our family, we were impressed by the staff’s willingness to help and support us to an ending that allowed our pup the most comfort and love. Highly recommend and although I expected a fairly large bill for the time and services there, it was quite reasonable and much less than other 24 hour clinics we had used in the past with other dogs.
My dog scratched her skin so hard she caused a skin wound on her jaw area. I had a choice to come to North Peninsula Vet or Lenity Vet next door. Since Lenity Vet charged me so much money in the past I decided to go to North Peninsula. What a great choice. The doctor said my dog had a hot spot on her jaw area. They cleaned the wound and gave some antibiotics. The price was very reasonable and the communication waa great. My dog is much better now! I highly recommend their service.
I cannot express how thankful I am for Dr Luehman! My 11 year old lop intermittently gets ear infections which affects his balance. We had finished a course of antibiotics about 3 weeks ago, but then he started to have mobility issues shortly after cessation. We made an appointment with his normal vet, but she was on vacation for another 5 days and he was worsening too much. I took him in and Dr Luehman found the cause of the recent continued ear infections and gave us instructions to keep him stable until his follow up on Tuesday. Isaac was finally able to stand up straight during the appointment because she cleaned his ear out thoroughly.
Dr Wolf and his staff were absolutely fantastic in our time of need. We brought our cat in, as he was critically ill and in the end we had to euthanize him. We felt the compassion of all the staff in our time of need for which we will never forget! TY all so much!❤️😽
We are so blessed this clinic exists! When our 4 week old kitten had accidentally ate her silicone nipple from her feeding bottle we knew it was bad, we took her to this clinic and the staff had looked into her stomach and confirmed she ate it and that she would need to have it removed. After trying to make her throw it up didn’t work, they eventually had brought a specialist to do an endoscopy to remove it. They provided an extremely affordable price compared to other places and cared for our kitten so compassionately. Dr Link as well as the rest of the staff here are all AMAZING! Our kitten came home so happy, not lethargic at all, and was so playful. Do not hesitate to go anywhere else, my girlfriend called around and no place had better service than this location for emergencies. Very affordable, very honest and amazing staff! Thank you and god bless you all here for saving our kittens life! 🙏
We recently visited this vet during a very stressful time, as our dog was unwell. While the staff was generally professional, we were disappointed to find an unexpected credit card processing fee on our bill. No one verbally informed us of this charge, and we were too focused on our sick pet to notice any small signs posted around the room. In situations like this—when clients are clearly under emotional stress—we expect transparent, direct communication about additional fees. It’s not just about the amount; it’s about trust and clarity. We hope the clinic reconsiders how they disclose extra charges in the future, especially when dealing with concerned pet owners.
