Kings Highway Animal Clinic

I cannot recommend Kings Hwy enough. I will never forget how they made something that was seemingly unbearable for me somewhat bearable. My soul dog got sick pretty quickly last December. Dr. Gowens and her team did everything they could to help, but there just wasn't much else they could do for her. They were always honest with me about my options and pricing. Eventually, my dog stopped eating, using the restroom, and even getting out of bed on her own, so I took her in one last time to discuss euthanasia. They were incredibly compassionate and considered my dog's quality of life above all else. We decided on at-home euthanasia so she could be comfortable. I paid around $500 for Dr. Gowens and a tech to come to my home to conduct the euthanasia and take her to get cremated. She even made sure the ashes were returned to me before the holidays. I will forever be grateful to the Kings Hwy team for treating me and my baby with such kindness. They are truly in the business of caring for animals. I now have a new senior chi I recently adopted, so I will be taking her (and all the other senior pups I'll be rescuing in the future) to see Dr. Gowens and her team.

I took my families cat there after he hurt his leg on a fence. Not only was the front desk super kind and helpful but the vet techs and the doctors were also amazing. His procedure was pretty expensive. He had to have his leg amputated because physical therapy didn’t work. He’s an older cat so I was very worried about how he would heal. They walked me through everything. They helped me understand the process of amputation because I didn’t want to have to euthanize him. They even gave him a couple free treatments on top of the amputation, which was super amazing because financially it was hard enough to afford over $1000 of work. I really liked that. They also provide you an entire breakdown of the cost of everything. I felt like it was reasonably costed because he did have to have multiple overnight stays with 24/7 care. He had to get so much work done that I was honestly expecting a $3000 bill. His name is Perseus and he’s thriving. Literally the moment we got home he was trying to run around. I had to stop him. He gets around the house so well!! He did have arthritis in his other hip and they informed me what medication we can use for his arthritis so it doesn’t bother him while he gets around on that leg and they genuinely were just amazing. They truly care for the animals. I’ll be bringing my cat to them today!

From routine visits to surgeries this is the best vet ever! They’re incredibly thorough with both of our Bluetick Coonhounds and always take the time to explain everything. Super personable and caring, too. My parents bring their hunting GSPs here and love them just as much — we all trust this clinic completely!

I have a severely socially anxious dog. Today, she had to have a quick procedure that involved her having to be laid on her back outside exam room. The tech (Clifton) and doctor (Rackley) were so kind and compassionate. They both understood my dog’s fears and kept reassuring her she was okay. She did great.

The the post appointment follow-up call and check-in was extremely thoughtful. The staff on the phone was able to answer all of our questions and offer sound advice. We appreciate your staff and love the Kings Highway!! Keep being amazing!! Dog tax -picture included.

I’ve been taking my pitbull Louie to King's Highway Animal Clinic since he was a puppy, and the level of care and compassion they’ve shown him over the years has been outstanding. Recently, we had him neutered there, and I was so impressed with how attentive and gentle they were throughout the entire process. One of the things I appreciate most about King's Highway is how accommodating they are to his specific needs. Because he doesn’t always get along with other dogs, they go out of their way to ensure he’s comfortable and safe during his visits. They schedule appointments at quieter times and bring him straight into an exam room to avoid any stressful interactions in the waiting area. It’s clear they prioritize the well-being of all their patients, and that means a lot to me. My Louie is my baby, and I only want what’s best for him. Knowing he’s in such capable and caring hands at King's Highway Animal Clinic gives me real peace of mind. I trust them completely with his health and well-being!

My fur babies have been going here since I can remember. The are under great veterinarian care. The staff are all attentive to who they are attending to weather it be an annual or sick exam.plus the rewards points come in real handy for costs. I highly recommend.
