Dr Medina and her team are the absolute best. Our kitty had some urinary issues that resulted in him having to get a procedure immediately and stay 2 nights in the clinic. Dr Medina is quick, attentive, and knowledgeable, and it’s clear that she cares about your pet just as much as you do. We’ve never had a better experience with a vet. Dr Medina’s full transparency and passion for her work made us feel truly comfortable leaving our pet in her care. We are so grateful for how the entire team treated our kitty during this stressful situation.

The Animal Care Center of Hays County is absolutely one of the best veterinary practices. We've have experience with multiple vets there, and they were all very considerate and positive experiences. The team there shows that they truly care for your pets and want them to have the best quality of life. From the welcoming staff at the front desk to the vets that actively do research about your pets illness in order to better help them on their days off, its very clear that these people love what they do. As long as we have a pet, we'll be bringing them to this care center.

You can’t get any better than Dr. Medina and the team at Animal Care Center Hays County. We recently brought in our 5 month old kitten Toulouse where he was immediately treated for hypoglycemia. They saved his life- without their help we wouldn’t have him home with us today. Not only have they played a critical role in Toulouse’s pet emergency, but they also helped us save the life of our other kitten Maui when we found her on the brink of death in a field. They worked with us for 4 straight months to get her into tip top shape. Not only will she now live a long, healthy, happy life but she’ll also get the benefit of doing that with both eyes! Dr. Medina also helped us navigate the end of our first dogs life. He was 11 and the team helped us keep him comfortable through his last day. Thankfully, our two year old pup Charlee has been a healthy pup and has only needed the usual treatment from the animal center team. They are great for the day to day too! Overall, I can’t recommend the team enough. They are honest, compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable. You won’t regret taking your pets here!

I love this place! They always take great care of my Rosie and the whole staff is so kind and helpful and knowledgeable. They are very transparent about pricing which I really appreciate as a college student. Dr. Brielle and Miss Heidi are both wonderful. The staff here has always created an effective treatment plan that works for me and my baby. I won’t go anywhere else! (:

Yall are one of the most caring and understanding facilities I’ve ever been to. It’s not even just the pets you care for, you always look out for and have empathy for financial constraints and do your best to offer the most cost efficient care while never sacrificing quality. I have great peace of mind knowing your team is on my baby’s side.

Dr. Medina was very nice and answered all my questions about my kitties, mama and George. I would definitely recommend going to her over anywhere else in San Marcos! The whole staff was very sweet during my kitty emergency and helped me find the best treatment plan for my kitties! I included a photo of them hanging out after their vet appointment together.

I absolutely love this place! I have been a client here since my doggo was a small pup till now at 5 years old (pictured) . I remember looking around for local vet places around town that was affordable especially when I was in college and I came across this place. They beat everybody else’s prices and are super accommodating in regards to what you can and can’t afford. They always give you estimates beforehand just to go ahead and confirm that everything is good and price affordable. My Dog Levi is a bit of a bigger boy, and he can be kind of reactive towards other animals, and they always accommodate and make him feel secure. I absolutely love the way that they treat patients and our fur babies. I’ve already recommended two friends to go here, and they absolutely love the care and dedication that they put towards our pets.
