We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Bastian, and the team from Lotus provided the most compassionate and professional care imaginable. Dr. Seth and his assistant, Ro, arrived so calm and collected, working seamlessly together like a well-oiled machine without even needing to speak. They just knew what needed to be done. They made Bastian feel completely safe and comfortable during his final moments and allowed us to surround him with our homemade bed of flowers, which meant the world to us. His remains arrived today, less than two weeks later, and everything was beautifully packaged with great attention to detail and quality. We’re so grateful for the dignity, kindness, and support they showed our family through such a difficult time. I can’t recommend Lotus highly enough for anyone facing this heartbreaking moment, they truly helped bring peace to ours.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Dasho and his team for the outstanding care they provided for our large, fearful dog. After several challenging experiences at a traditional veterinary office, we reached out to his team for help, and we’re so glad we did. They were kind, punctual, professional, and exceptionally skilled. Thanks to their thoughtful approach, we were able to complete all of our dog’s vaccinations with minimal stress in a convenient setting outside the home, which helped avoid territorial issues. They guided us in choosing medications to keep him calm and followed up afterward to make sure he was doing well. We were very impressed by how confidently and compassionately they handled him. They also took the time to walk us through the risks and benefits of different options, helping us make informed, personalized decisions tailored to our dog’s needs. We couldn’t have been happier with choosing Lotus Vet House Calls. Our 14-year-old Maestro was living with seizures, an enlarged heart, a collapsed trachea, and CCD. He never liked going to the vet, so we made the decision to bring the vet to him — and we’re so grateful that we did. From the very beginning, Debra and Torey were incredibly responsive, answering all our questions and making sure Maestro’s appointments were seamless. Dr. Seth, Dr. Rachael, and Susan provided the most compassionate and thoughtful care. As Maestro’s health began to decline, Dr. Seth was especially kind — always quick to respond to our many emails with patience and clarity. On the day Maestro passed, Dr. Rachael and Susan were everything we needed. Dr. Rachael explained the process so thoroughly and gave us the space and information we needed to make the most loving decision for Maestro. We didn’t want him to keep suffering. The experience, though heartbreaking, was peaceful and full of love. We got to hold our baby, speak to him, and be completely present with him as he transitioned. Thank you, Lotus Vet, for giving us this gift. We will always be grateful.

We have been using Lotus Veterinary House Calls for years now. The ease of having a vet come into your own home is so fantastic. No stress, no fuss. The service is great but what really distinguishes Lotus is the fact that their Doctors and support staff are the kindest, most patient and all over amazing human beings. They hold you and your furry/purry family members in a gentle embrace while being knowledgeable, non-judgemental, thorough and efficient. They work with you rather than dictating to you. Don't even get me started on some of the horrendous vet experiences we have had to endure here in San Francisco...but never once with Lotus. Unfortunately we have had to have three cats put to sleep at the end of their lives during our time with Lotus and I can't rave enough about both Dr Seth and Dr Jenny. I truly consider them both members of our extended family. Don't let the cost put you off, at the end of the day it's actually not that much more and so worth every.single.penny! We have absolutely LOVED Lotus and their physicians, Dr. Feingenbaum and Dr. Seth! We will be forever grateful for these vets' very kind and loving care of our beloved canine angel. As a matter of fact, Dr. Feigenbaum's face is imprinted in my memory, right there with doctors that saved my parents' and my  life. Yeah, she is that magical and special to us. Unsurpassable would probably be the best description.

I am so grateful for Lotus Vet! They were treating my senior dog, Carter with acupuncture and for his vestibular issues for a little over a year before he finally transitioned/crossed over to the ancestor realm... this March 2025, just shy of 17 years And they came to the house to put him down - and I am so grateful and took part on the Sound Healing & Music Ceremony I held for my pup in my death doulah practice, right before it was time. He was ready and I was too. And it was magical. Thank you all for being so open and working with my more holistic approach and values for Carter's healing and sharing with me all the herbs and The Chinese Medicine and wellness approach to making home cooked food for his meals and in his final year with me. He lived his best life til the end of his time here and full quality with your support. AND THANK YOU to Dr. Rachel for your care and expertise, and especially to Dr. Jenny and assistant Susan - who we worked with the most. And also answering all my questions whenever i had them. Acupuncture really supported his energy flow and physical well-being. Your kindness and love shines bright. Thank you for your work. And I know, Carter, now as my Spirit Animal thanks you too!

Lotus was the best decision I ever made, and I want people to know that I can’t rave enough about them. I realize cost are high, and finances can be hard on people, especially since we live in SF in general. But they are worth. Every. Penny. I had an older, small dog, with health problems, who was basically blind, because her cataracts were so bad. I couldn’t take her into a regular vet office anymore as she got older, because she would freak out that I couldn’t go back with her. She would cause herself so much anxiety that she would pass out with the staff and the doctor. Lotus, made it so much more calm… for both of us! My first visit was with Dr. Seth, and his assistant Jacqueline. They were so kind, gentle, sweet, genuine, answered all my questions, were incredibly patient, and helpful. They brought everything to our home. We sat on our living room floor and they examined her, and she was happy and calm with them. My dog, unfortunately was not well, and a few weeks later I knew… it was her time. The two ladies I talked and emailed with at the office throughout the month I used Lotus, were amazing and heartfelt. My second visit was for a home euthanasia. This time Dr. Rachael, and her assistant came to our home. Again, incredibly sweet, understanding, empathetic, patient, loving, and the kind of doctors you want around you when you have to go through this with your baby. If you can’t or don’t want to go into an office, and want someone to come to you. Call them. If you need to put your baby down, because it’s their time, and you want to do it privately in your home.
