Torrey Hills Pet Hospital offers a mixed experience for pet owners seeking feline care. While many clients praise the professionalism and compassion of Dr. Foltz and his team, others have reported inconsistent service quality, particularly with front desk staff. Positive reviews highlight prompt, trustworthy care and a warm atmosphere, making it a favorable choice for some. However, negative feedback points to issues with communication and customer support, suggesting room for improvement.

The hospital is known for its experienced veterinarians and thorough medical attention, but incidents of poor handling and unprofessional behavior have been noted. Dr. Foltz and his staff are the very best Veterinary Medicine team that I have ever worked with. I trust them 100% with the health and welfare of my family (my dogs). They are always prompt, compassionate, and caring and most of all I know I can trust whatever they say, recommend, or charge. TGhey are the consummate professionals and I recommend Dr. Foltz and his team 100% to anyone and everyone!

My dog has been a patient for 3 years of this clinic. I called on a Friday early morning because she had been in pain all night long (whining, short and rapid breath, dizzy, could barely walk, shaking, etc.) and wanted to get her checked ASAP. The receptionist offered me an appointment for Monday morning… Really? She even did not direct me to an urgent care or other facility. She just did not care. This was not the first time that I had been disappointed with the quality of care but that will be the last one. You just lost a patient.

DO NOT COME HERE. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experiences at this veterinary hospital were extremely disappointing due to the front desk receptionist, Hailey. On one occasion, after paying a significant amount for my dog’s ultrasound, she was unwilling to provide me with the results, which caused unnecessary stress and delays. On a second occasion, when my dog ran out of veterinarian-prescribed food, she again refused to offer any assistance or guidance. As a pet owner, I expect professionalism, basic communication, and support, especially when it comes to a pet’s health. Hailey should not be working there, this business lost my trust and made situations far more difficult than they needed to be. Will never go back.

Probably some of the rudest people I’ve ever run into. I will fully admit, wasn’t coming in as a patient but fully could’ve been in the future. Receptionist was extremely rude and off putting.

I was there today to establish care as we are new to the neighborhood. I was very pleased with the Veterinarian. However; the tech administered a vaccine and drew some blood and I have never heard my dog cry that loud before, and she is 8 and has yearly vaccines. Since 11:45am she has been unable to walk (she’s limping) and she has wined and cried all day. Her hind leg where the vaccine was given is swollen and extremely sensitive. NEVER in the 8 years of going to the vet have I experienced this with her. The tech had the nerve to say that she was "sensitive to needles" when I commented on her cries. Very bad administration of vaccines and I will NOT be going back nor do I recommend them. Terrible first visit.

This place is the absolute best & you can feel it as soon as you walk in. I was looking for a new vet for my pittie & had been to others that just didn’t make me feel super comfortable. I’m so grateful I found Torrey Hills Pet Hospital. The girls in the front are always super sweet, helpful, & kind. Dr. Foltz is amazing. He takes his time, explains everything really well, gives options, and pricing is completely transparent. They are so warm & kind here. My dog actually enjoys coming here to see the team! Thank you TP Pet Hospital!

Been taking my Rottweiler here for a while now and we never had a negative experience. She has gotten multiple check ups, vaccines, and was also spayed here. Dr. Foltz and the staff are very friendly and take great care of my rottie.
