Stratford Hills Veterinary Center

Loved this place and the staff. My dog usually hates the vet. While he was here, he was treated great and the staff gave him lots of love and made us both feel safe and comfortable. Would recommend.

I am a returning customer after about 10 years. I had five cats that received Services from Stratford in the 21 years that I had the 5 cats, Goldielocks, Sandman, Lady, Lucky and finally Ashlyn. They have all passed away since then. 4 of the 5 were also cremated via the service provider you used at that time. Coco is my first dog as an adult. So when I moved back to South Richmond from Short Pump, I decided to return back to Stratford. Of course, like anyone else I was apprehensive when he needed surgery, but I am happy to say that he’s doing well and he has recovered fast. You guys are the absolute best. Kirby and I have moved around a lot and had a variety of vets over the years, and you have been our favorite! She is typically sooo anxious at the vet - won’t even accept a treat - but your staff has her eating dry Cheerios out of their hands. Our dog was abused by her former owners and needs time and patience when interacting with her. The staff at Stratford Hills are amazing with her and give her all the time she needs. The prices are reasonable and the doctors make sure you have all of your options available before making a decision.

Stratford Hills took such compassionate care of my old little dog Luis during his time living in Richmond. After years managing his bladder cancer, when the sad day came to say goodbye, the end of life experience was very peaceful and heartfelt. Forever grateful, Stefan and Luis 🐾

We've been using Stratford Hills for probably 10 or more years now and can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff is always kind, attentive, gentle and caring. We have three dogs from 100lbs to 11lbs and they treat them like their own. Also, unlike other places, they never try to upsell you something you don't need. You can't go wrong choosing Stratford Hills.

I have taken four of my cats here since November of last year, and each time the staff has been so kind, attentive, and willing to take the time to make sure all of my questions have been answered to my satisfaction. I have been to some vets that of course say they care for cats and dogs alike, and they do, but it’ll be clear to me they don’t care all that much about the cats. Stratford Hills Veterinary Center is no such place — they DEFINITELY care about their cat patients! (And I imagine they care for their dog patients equally, but without a dog of my own, I just can’t speak on that). I had a traumatic experience at a vet in 2023 — not the vet’s fault, but……I wasn’t sure and I did get an autopsy done and sure enough, not the vet’s fault, but it was horrible on top of the trauma of loosing my baby to think that veterinary negligence could have played a role……I am so grateful to have settled down with a vet that I feel I can trust to treat my babies with the utmost care and respect they deserve.
