Fan Veterinary Clinic

Began coming here 3 years ago when I moved to RVA. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. This practice has always been patient and loving to all my pets. They are very thorough and records have been great. They follow up after appts to make sure all is well. Appt time have always been on time for me and they are accommodating as much as any vet can be. The staff is very nice throughout the practice. Highly recommend!!

Our dog had a cyst on his eyelid that got infected. He was miserable. We were able to get a same day appointment and he was treated. Within 24 hours, his condition dramatically improved. We knew he wouldn't wear a cone so the vet prescribed an anti-histamine and steroid and he hasn't tried to scratch the site since which is key to his continued recovery. Very grateful to the Fan Veterinary Clinic!

I have always felt like this clinic has taken good care of me and my babies. After having to euthanize my sweet, cancer riddled boy, I know this is a safe, trustworthy place for anyone's fur babies. They were so patient and supportive. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I have no idea why it’s taken me so long to write a review, this place is the absolute best. I’ve brought my pets here for 15 years and every single staff member is truly the most kindhearted and empathetic person you could ever hope to encounter. They all treat your pets like they’re one of their own. Whether it’s for routine appointments, random incidents, or surgery I cannot recommend bringing pets here enough thanks to the extremely talented and sweet staff. Thanks for always keeping my babies healthy and happy, y’all!

When my boyfriend and I moved in together, he was taking his two cats to Fan while mine had gone to another clinic. One visit with him and his cats made me bring mine to Fan! Everyone from the front desk staff to the vets is kind, knowledgeable and communicative. One of my cats hates the vet and gets very feisty, but their incredible patience and care makes it so much less traumatic than it used to be. The two of us and the four felines couldn’t be happier!

My dog Basil was an anxious mess today at his vet appointment, and every single staff member (front desk, vet, assistants) went out of their way to make him happy and comfortable. The vet and assistants could not have been kinder or more flexible with my anxious boy! Basil was able to get all his vaccines and meds because of the wonderful staff. The front desk was also wonderful. I recommend this vet to anyone with an anxious pet 🙂

Fan Vet Clinic’s doctors and staff are incredible. I’m always greeted with a warm smile and my pets are given the utmost of care. They do a great job at making your pet feel special and investigating any possible root causes for issues.
