Long-time customer here, and this experience was genuinely shocking. I went from recommending Magnolia Animal Hospital to being abruptly cut off as a client with no explanation. In January 2025, I called to inquire about dental cleaning for one of my dogs. During that call, staff noted that I said I might shop around — which seems reasonable given the cost of the procedure. No issue was raised at the time. Fast forward to February 2026: I called to schedule a dental cleaning and was told my account was "under review," then instructed to call back Monday. When I did, I was told the office manager would email me "when he gets a chance." No reason was provided. No timeline. No discussion. Just dismissal. After years as a paying client, this level of opacity and unilateral decision-making is deeply concerning. If an animal hospital can quietly place your account "under review" and refuse service without explanation, that’s something potential clients deserve to know before investing their time, trust, and money here. I’m taking my business elsewhere.

My diabetic cat has been on a roller coaster of remission and back to diabetic for a while now and Dr. John has been great with dealing with that. He even went as far as to drive insulin to my house when I couldn’t get to it. Recently my cat has went out of remission again and I was put in touch with Dr. Dean along the way who has been extremely helpful and attentive in guiding me with medical advice on how to care for my cat in certain situations at home

Great prices and great service. My pup is not exactly easy- she’s an older reactive dog and the staff has gone out of their way with extreme patience to take good care of her. Dr. Jon has added years to my dogs life expectancy at a price I could afford. Dr Jon is very gifted and knowledgeable and I’m really thankful we found this place!

Dr. John is the best veteran I have ever had to take my pets to. My dogs love seeing him and are not afraid to let him examine them. I can tell he really loves what he does and it shows.

Magnolia Animal Hospital used to provide great service, and I trusted them with my cats for years. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this practice. My cat is sick, has been losing weight, and was diagnosed with a thyroid issue. I have been waiting for Dr. John to prescribe medication, but that still has not happened. When I said that if they did not have time to call me back, I would need to go to another vet to get help, they refused to continue helping my cat. That is unacceptable when an animal is sick and needs care. Since the other vets left, the quality of this practice has declined. I am very disappointed, especially after trusting them for so many years

Dr. Jon and his staff have been caring for my girl for about 4-5 years now. Best service I’ve received, best care, each employee I’ve encountered has loved on my dog so much! They approach with so much care and love! Dr. Jon is an expert in his practice and you can really feel confident in his hands! I’d leave more stars if I could!

Magnolia Animal Hospital is FANTASTIC! Dr. Jon is kind, caring and his knowledge, experience and supportive honesty is refreshing. Our little dog was well cared for and the front office staff were also kind and efficient. A+ service and after many years with many vets for our pets, Dr. Jon and Magnolia are THE BEST!
