the most incredible, kind, and thoughtful service in a place i didn’t want to be (because it meant my dog was in critical condition). every single staff member took thoughtful and thorough care of my dog who was hurt, my other dog who was there with me, and even me. it was incredible to have this care in a time when i was extremely scared and feeling vulnerable. thank you, riverbend. i will continue to recommend you to everyone i know who might need your services someday. also THANK YOU FOR BEING OPEN ON SUNDAYS! idk what i would’ve done if you weren’t. thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We went to the Urgent Care on what turned out to be one of the worst days we’ve had in a very long time. Our senior kitty was sick, and after calling around to a few other urgent care clinics Riverbend told us to come right in. When we got there the staff took him immediately to the back and they put us in a private room. After some waiting, some testing and lots of conversations we had to make the difficult decision to put our cat to sleep. Everyone at Riverbend was kind, compassionate and empathetic. The veterinarian was honestly one of the best I’ve ever seen, and we’ve seen a lot over the years. Their first concern was my cat and his comfort. We’ve visited other Urgent Care’s in the past and Riverbend was a much better experience (even though it ended terribly). The cost wasn’t bad at all, either. We had bloodwork, ultrasound, medications and some other stuff and we were expecting it to cost way more than it did. Even with the cremation package we chose, I do think their pricing is very reasonable. I absolutely recommend this place if you’re in the unfortunate circumstance of needing an urgent care vet. If we ever need these kind of services again I know we won’t even bother with the other places. They served us and our cat, Jenkins, very well. I appreciated their genuine care and concern.

I have been here twice with my husky for separate issues. They are extremely thorough, kind and willing to spend the time to answer all my questions. After our most recent visit for a back injury, Dr. March had multiple phone calls with me to strategize his plan of care and next steps. They are truly an 11/10 establishment and my go-to for any time sensitive needs.

We first came to Riverbend because of an acute concern with our older dog that our regular vet couldn't get her in for. They provided excellent care, followed up with us a few days to make sure treatment was working, and continued to provide follow up care. We LOVE Dr. Powell and her approach. Also, our dog does really well in their calm, quiet environment. I really can't recommend Riverbend and Dr Powell highly enough.

Just wanted to share my wonderful experience with Riverbend Veterinary Care. My dog had a scary medical emergency, and they were able to get me in right away. From the moment we walked in the door, the entire staff went above and beyond to treat me and my precious dog with the upmost care and empathy. I’ve never felt such reassurance in a veterinary setting before. Even after we left they remained in close contact with me about my dog and his recovery which I so deeply appreciated. I can’t recommend this clinic enough! Thank you Dr.Powell and the team!! 😊

Love the customer service and speediness. Very clean and welcoming facility. Second time being there and their prices are very reasonable and the two times I have been there, we got in and out super fast. The staff and doctors are really sweet and gentle 🙂

We had a really excellent experience at Riverbend last weekend. My 11 yr old dog injured his left leg/shoulder on Saturday evening (because of course he only hurts himself on weekends). It wasn't an emergency but I didn't want to wait until Monday for him to see our vet so a veterinary urgent care was perfect and the fee was probably about what my vet would charge for a same day appointment anyway. We called ahead on Sunday morning and were able to get an appointment within an hour, which was nice so we didn't have to sit around waiting. I appreciated the clarity about cost and timing on the website and over the phone. When we arrived, we were seen right away. The reception staff, vet techs, and veterinarian were all wonderful, professional, and friendly. They even had an activity kit for my 5 yr old daughter with coloring sheets and colored pencils/crayons that made the time pass faster. The staff were great with my anxious dog and the vet (Dr March) really listened to my concerns and observations and took the time to have a proper conversation with me. The whole appointment from intake, examination, diagnosis, and discharge took about 90 minutes. We were able to get the prescribed meds directly from Riverbend. Dr. March called on Wednesday to check on my dog and answer any follow up questions. I hope I don't need veterinary urgent care again but if I do, I will be going to Riverbend!
