We have learned so much about Theo through this process and left every appointment feeling more informed and better equipped to listen to Theo’s needs. Dr. Pachel’s empathy, genuine kindness, and the way he truly listens to understand, serve as a beautiful reminder of the good in humanity and a reflection of how much we can learn when we take the time to really pay attention to what the animals (and people) around us are sharing. We are so grateful for Dr. Pachel’s presence on this journey and the opportunity to have such incredible support and expertise a phone call away.

It appears as if my first review of Animal Behavior Clinic did not post. My Great Dane Titus had his follow up visit with Dr. Pachel today. I cannot recommend Dr. Pachel highly enough to anyone who may need help working through any issues with their dog. He will take any amount of time needed to answer any of my questions, address any concerns or explain how and why certain techniques work- including training techniques, medication choices and side effects. Most important his love of animals comes through and Titus loves him 🐾

Dr. Pachal is a top notch expert in the field of animal behavior. We are beyond grateful for his expertise in helping us with our fearful reactive pup. We feel so fortunate to be able to work with him. Dr. Pachal is warm and open and a brilliant observer of our dog’s behavior. We had so many questions and needed all the help we could get. He came up with a specific point by point plan that included medicine and behavioral goals that we have worked on over the last two years at home and with our wonderful trainer. Dr. Pachal’s follow up sessions and detailed notes have helped us to grow as dog owners and have helped our pup to grow more confident less fearful. We are less stressed too! We will always be incredibly grateful to Dr. Pachal and the Animal Behavior Clinic.

We’ve had a great experience with Animal Behavior Clinic and Dr. Pankratz. It was a bit hard to get them via phone, but we now have an app they use & I receive prompt responses from the office. They have helped us with our pups behavior issue, and super helpful with possible solutions. I would highly recommend them.

We had our initial consultation with Dr. Christopher Pachel and it exceeded all expectations. We have a complex but wonderful 1 year old dog who needs a sophisticated understanding of canine behavior, which includes emotional, physical and medication needs. We have worked with several trainers who all recommended Dr. Pachel and the Animal Behavior Clinic. We couldn't have been more pleased, and frankly impressed, by how quickly he understood our dog's personality and needs and moved right into strategies for how best to work with her for success. We feel we have a real team member in our camp now and could not recommend him more highly.

Dr. Pachel was incredibly helpful for us with our 6 year old labradoodle. The behavioral changes that we see in our dog after 5 months of treatment and training have been life changing for him and us.

I highly recommend seeing Dr. Pachel at ABC. I am from the Seattle area but I live in the UK. I have been struggling with my dog's noise phobia for two years now, and it was difficult to find appropriate help over here. I had been liasing with ABC for a little while trying to get my GP on board with a virtual consult, but his regular vet wasn't super supportive. Last month, I unexpectedly had to return to the US for a family emergency and they were able to move things around to get me in for an in-person appt. AND, prior to the appointment, the clinic inquired about what type of learner I am and any needs that I have for the appointment (to take away as much as possible). Not only were they able to get me in, but Dr. Pachel was wonderful. He is an attentive listener and caring. My dog was a service dog with full public access rights prior to moving to the UK, where the noise phobia started. Instead of telling me he can no longer do that, he said there is always hope! While of course still putting my dog's welfare first. He came up with a plan to suite both my needs and my dog's, which included medication and desensitization. Since my appointment, him and his team have been available over email for questions. Seeing a behaviorist is expensive, but I don't regret visiting ABC at all. Even if my dog does not ever return to public access, I am so happy knowing that I am doing everything I can to make his life enjoyable. I attached of photo of him so you read this review.
