Portland Animal Clinic

I took my elderly cat in for her first appointment here today and I am so happy I did. The staff was cordial and Dr. Castle was very professional and helpful. The last vet my cat went to was not nearly as helpful and seemed to be more concerned with money than care of the animals, even going so far as to say they may not be the cheapest, but I should remember that you get what you pay for. While I understand that to an extent, I believe that was not the case with our now ex-vet clinic. I would happily pay the prices of the previous clinic for the care from this one. Portland Animal Clinic was also able to give me her medicine right away unlike the other vet who sent me to a specialty pharmacy that was quite a ways away. I am ecstatic to continue my best friend's care with Portland Animal Clinic and Dr. Castle.

I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was a baby and am really happy with the service and Dr. Castle. She really cares and her prices are very reasonable. She starts with the least invasive, most cost-effective treatment first. Everyone is kind and patient here.

Dr. Castle is so kind and trustworthy. I feel like she genuinely cares about my dogs and gives treatment recommendations based on their best interests. Her staff are professional and competent. Best vet I’ve ever been to!

They booked me an appointment a week out which was the earliest without paying an emergency fee. However they took care of my beautiful little girl Audi. They aren’t cheap, but no vet visit is. The important thing is how well they took care of my sweet girl. They did great with no issues!

All my pets have been to see vet Erin Castle. Her staff is amazing and helpful. I can't say enough about how caring and kind she's been to our family of pets.

The pug may not pleased, but I am so grateful to the care and service I’ve received at Portland Animal Clinic. I began seeing Dr. Castle and the staff there in 2016. I have looked at using other vets closer to my home, and just didn’t get the same vibe. I have never felt judged or put off, regardless of how often I brought my pug into see them over the last few years. They have dealt with my first-time-pug-parent neuroses with grace and kindness. My pets have always been well taken care of and have never been pushed to do unnecessary labs or procedures. They were amazing when I had to put my first cat down in January of this year.

Best Vet Clinic Ever! Dr. Castle is AMAZING!! Great with my dog. He's a rescue with some behavioral issues. Very reasonable prices.
