Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care - Overland Park

The veterinarian, Dr. Norma Gottstein and Phoebe were great. I brought my little Boston in with a cough. Phoebe started the admission process and was gentle and kind with him. She sat on the floor to work at his level as he wanted to play with his toy. Dr. Gottstein was forthcoming, honest, and caring towards him. She carefully listened to me as to his symptoms and treated me as an intelligent human being while caring for my furbaby. Additionally, the cost was appropriate for the treatment provided and I found it to be reasonable and not cost prohibitive. I really appreciated the care given to my furbaby and the time spent with him.

Wow! We were so impressed with the care and detail of the vet team at Petfolk. Our dog Olivia received excellent treatment and guidance to develop a plan from Dr. Cole and Madi. They even laid a soft blanket on the floor for our pup to rest on. We were able to schedule same day for urgent care. From start to finish, our experience was top notch. Thank you!

Receptionist was extremely nice. It was clean and the pricing was a little pricey. My dog had an ear infection and it was $195 and that was including $100 first time visit coupon that had been taken off the total. At the appointment, I discovered that there are different veterinarians each day and so you may not see the same one two times. I like consistency of seeing the same veterinarian for my pet. The veterinarian that we had seemed nice enough. Overall, it was OK because I was able to get my dog in for an appointment right away, which was needed. I prefer to consistently see the same veterinarian each time if possible for my dog.

I am very particular about who treats our kiddos. We have high expectations and higher standards. We treat ailments holistically and feed a raw diet, something most vets look down on. However Dr. Long (I think!) treated Morgan as if she was an everyday patient, rather than an urgent care visit. The vet tech was also fantastic. It was clean, quiet, and they were so fast. Morgan was in 10/10 pain and Dr. Long treated her as gentle as possible and recommended medicinal and holistic approaches. We will 100% use them again should we ever find ourselves in an urgent care situation again. Pricing was no different than our regular wellness center. For someone who would move to another planet for our primary veterinary clinic and someone who’s NEVER left a Google review, I 10/10 recommend this clinic!

Just got my new rescued dog home. She was acting lethargic after some vaccines that she received today. Recently my friend tried and LOVED Petfolk and i followed suit. Love the atmosphere and the very personal service i received. Walked out the door feeling confident that Penelope was ok. I’ll be taking my other dogs there as well.

Taking my dog to Petfolk was a great experience. Especially when you are worried about your pet. The process to get an appointment at an Urgent Care, check-in and being roomed seamless. We were early for our appointment and the friendly and pet-loving staff roomed us and got us in and out quickly. We were grateful for our diagnosis that it wasn’t something more serious and received meds. We were able to use the 100.00 coupon offered up which helped us with the bill. Office very clean. Overall 10/10.

Scheduling was easy, and we didn't have to wait long when we got there. The hours of availability were so nice and needed. Clean and calm environment and they offered a nice blanket for my senior bernese mountain dog to lay on during the exam, which was a nice touch. Dr. Coles and the team were knowledgeable and thorough, and took the time to break down what my dog's bloodwork meant (or could indicate). After ruling out some possibilities, they recommended us to the pet hospital they partner with for an ultrasound and while we ultimately got results no pet owner wants to get, we will never forget the level of professionalism, compassion, and care with which they treated us and our dog. The pricing was reasonable, and we didn't have to pay the exam fee at the partner hospital since we were referred through Petfolk. Highly recommend.
