Vetco Total Care

I took my kitten (Sage) to this Animal Hospital and it was a Wonderful experience for my pet and myself. Dr. Bridgette and Dr. Assistant Ariel were very kind, professional and eased my anxiety as a pet owner. They didnt try to drain my pockets. What was even more helpful was that Dr. Bridgette was able to determine my kitten Sage's real D.O.B b/c the person who gave the kitten to me told me she was born on Feb. 20 and Dr. Bridget helped me so I know how old the kitten really is. Dr. Bridgette even recommended the right food and immune support gel and kitten food for Sage and she also prescribed the right medicine for my kittens eyes for her conjuntivitis. Vetco Total Care is Awesome and so is everyone who works here. This place has everything You neef for your pet. I will definitely be bringing botth my pets Seven and Sage here again. Great place. Wonderful. I was there a fewxweeks ago with my puppy Stella Rose and i was very happy with everything. This time I went with Stella’s sister Luna Bella fir core vaxes.Everyone was efficient and courteous. The vet assistant and the doctor were wonderful. Vetco is perfect for lower cost care for someone like ne on a fixed income. I will definately continue with vetco. Thank you!

Well, my dog‘s been a patient at vetco vital care clinic since she was six months now 3 years old. She also has her grooming done in Petco, which works out wonderfully. The staff is great, very attentive pleasant and considerate. The total vital care program is amazing. I only pay 2176 per month but it’s worth it , 15.00 Reward points monthly, eight haircut is free, medical exam is free. It has a lot of pros nothing Cons. I’m pleased bottom line.

I was met by a lovely, soft spoken, and very kind woman named Mo. She was thorough, thoughtful and worked with me to get the best care and only the care needed (not piling on unnecessary tests checks etc). I didn’t want to be in the room while my dog was in there (bc I can’t watch) and she showed compassion. It was quick! Painless (for me) and reasonable.

UPDATE (8/30): sadly, my second visit was the complete opposite. I brought my other cat, frida, for a rabies shot and the front desk was extremely rude to me (not same staff as last visit). even worse, I was told they wouldn’t give her the vaccine due to an internal policy, even though my cat dorothea received the exact same vaccine here just two weeks ago. they said since i’m traveling abroad they wouldn’t give her the shot, however two weeks ago i mentioned travel plans openly (the staff even shared a list of clinics I could go to get a pet travel certificate). I came all the way from astoria for this appointment and left feeling disrespected and frustrated. the lack of consistency between staff and the unprofessional treatment at the front desk completely changed my impression of this clinic. can’t put in words how sad today was. Original review: I am beyond happy and satisfied with the service at vetco union square! the whole staff was friendly and treated my cat dorothea with so much love! she’s usually an anxious shy cat and the fact she felt very comfortable there made me the happiest. also the prices are great. highly recommend.

This Vetco location is our favorite location. My dog Hulk is always so excited to go there. He had a cherry eye and entropion that needed a surgery and Dr. Robert Mac Guinness and his team did an amazing job, they took such good care of Hulk that when Hulk had his second surgery he didn't even look behind. Dr. Robert is always so nice and caring with Hulk. We love this place and our doctor. %100 recommend it.

Love this place. They’ve taken good care of my kitten. Will continue to come here for all his needs.
