Pearly Bites really took care of our Tuxedo boy, he needed many extractions and extensive dental work. There was a lot of reassurance knowing the price was fixed due to their pricing structure. The process was well explained and straight forward. Though the price felt significant upfront, the over all experience, the care we received made it feel reasonable. We especially liked the after care where they worked with us to address any concerns we had with our cat's recovery. It's clear they care for the animals. Now our cat is pain-free and probably enjoying a much improved quality of life.

Excellent care from start to finish. My kitty was having some difficulty after surgery. I appreciated how the team guided me and administered palliative care , even followed up on the weekend. I felt the team really cared about my cat's well-being and steered us through to excellent results.

The team took wonderful care of our dog and did a fantastic job on her teeth. She was treated like a little queen and came home happy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The team at Pearly Bites were amazing. I felt that all my concerns were listened to, taken into account, discussed completely and all options were laid out for me. We arrived together at the best solution for my cat, and since having the procedure done he is recovering perfectly. I can already see he’s changed, a little more playful and happier now that his mouth is much healthier. The transparency in cost was well appreciated. My primary vet provided such a wide range of costs for care, all of which were higher than the flat cost I paid at Pearly Bites. To have a good deal from a specialist, especially one as good as the team here is incredible. If your pet needs dental work done, look no further. Overall, great experience taking such good care of my petey boy. He's a 6 lbs Maltese with severe case of periodontal disease — he needed 30 extractions, more than we anticipated but had the peace of mind with the upfront transparent pricing. It's been one day since his procedure and he's doing well! Thank you for taking such good care of my boy. Highly recommend!

My 10 yr old cat was suffering from bleeding gums and had a lot of tartar on her back teeth. We visited her usual vet for consultation and they exaggerated her condition and pushed for immediate dental work, which made me feel very uncomfortable. We came to Dr. Livermore for an initial consultation, she was very patient when listening to my cat’s condition (she had just gotten treated for hyperthyroidism), and was very detailed when explaining her findings of the initial exam and what she recommends. During the initial consultation, she showed that she truly cares about my cat’s dental health which is what made me book the dental right away. After the cleaning and extractions, Dr. Livermore was also very patient and detailed when explaining to me on what to expect for the next few days. The recovering process was tough but my cat pulled through. She’s a lot more cuddly and playful; it’s like she’s 5 yrs old all over again. I am very grateful for Dr. Livermore and her team. If your pet is not in immediate need of dental work, I highly recommend this place!

Where do I even begin in expressing my love and gratitude for Pearly Bites! This was my 3rd consultation for my cat’s oral health and PB made me feel the most informed and presented the best price so it was a no brainer for me. Their new space is so nice as well. Everyone I met at PB was so kind, friendly and really cares about you and your pet. Roxanne at the front desk is so good! They give you regular text updates day of the procedure and Dr Glass called me immediately after the procedure to let me know how it went. She is so kind and thorough. I thought I would be nervous while my kitty was there but I felt calm because of how nice and smart the whole team is. It seems like in New York, everyone has no problem taking your money. But to my surprise, because my kitty’s dental cleaning was not nearly as bad as they estimated, they charged me significantly less as a result. It was completely unexpected and so rare to find that kind of honesty. If only Pearly Bites offered primary care that would be the dream. But it’s my hope that anyone in NYC looking for pet dental care finds this extraordinary place.
