The good reviews are from when Dr Rachel and her team were there. They all left. The place is horribly disorganized, they are charging crazy and inconsistent prices (I was quoted $400 for X-rays, then as I got out my credit card, they changed it to $580). When I emailed, they didn’t respond. The staff who left were all so kind. The replacement staff leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t trust them with your beloved pups.
After the first visit to this Office, I called twice to speak with the Doctor, who I saw it with my dog to ask about other medication options. I left a message with someone in the office twice without anyone reaching out to me. On the third call that I made I was told again, that the Doctor I saw was not available to speak to me. They said they would ask another Doctor to speak with me, but when they came back to the phone, it was clear by the tone that the Doctor had better things to do then to take 60 seconds to speak to a patient on the phone about medications for their beloved animal. "Um, They’re like, wondering what it’s about because they already talked to you about the results from the testing" was the response I got. I guess I need to go in and pay another $600 to have an actual conversation with the Doctor at the veterinary clinic. My apologies. I didn’t know that was the new normal Good Vets.
They werent transparent on how much everything cost, first visit was $600 and I was told that would be for everything my pet needed to be updated. I wasnt told that the feces test would be another charge $70 after i brought it back. i also wasnt told about the cost of the test when i dropped the sample off. i got a call the next day saying i need to pay this. I had a fallow up vist a few weeks after this to get my pets booster shots... this visit would cost another $200 plus. which they add a dr fee of 91 dollars even if you dont need to see a dr for booster shots. I highly recommend you take your beloved pet somewhere else that doesnt see them as just money.
Great staff!! Clean and welcoming location!! Dr. Vaughn was engaged and very easy to interact with!! 10/10 stars recommend and will use again.
Words can’t expression the gratitude I have for the team at GoodVets! From the receptionist to the doctors, they are the kindest people! I unfortunately had three pets sick back to back, but thankfully all are either recovered or on the road to recovery! Kat and Dr Hendrix took amazing care of my Blanche would she quit eating and ended up having to have a feeding tube to get back on track (feeding tube was completed at Blue Pearl in Franklin). They checked in on her and made sure we were doing okay. Then my elder beagle, Scarlett, got a slipped disk and between Dr ORear and Dr Hendrix, she is doing much better even though she cannot understand she has to stop jumping on and off furniture (lol). Then most recently Dr ORear met with me and my elder German Shepard, Seymour. He was kind of limping around but he’s really dramatic so we weren’t 100% sure what was wrong. We tried supplements and pain meds but he wasn’t quite to where he would normally be so we scheduled an Xray to see what was going on. He was unfortunately diagnosed with arthritis, hip dysplasia and a partially torn acl. Dr ORear ended up proceeding with a shot in hip to see if that would help and he’s a new dog! Still limping around bc of the acl but he is definitely on the road to recovery. Thanks to the entire team at GoodVets for all of the care and love you have provided to my babies 🤍
GoodVets GT has taken such great care of our 12 year old Golden Retriever and 3 month old kitten, who are both terrified of the vet. They are patient, comforting and thorough with their evaluations, always giving us as much time as we need to ask questions. So, so thankful to have them in our community!
I love everything about GoodVets! All of the staff is kind and friendly, the office is gorgeous, but most importantly the communication is amazing. The Vet was kind in offering her explanation on how I could better care for my pet. The nurse gave me a clear and detailed price breakdown before any services were rendered, and explained the cost differences and benefits between the different treatment options. The entire staff was so kind and gentle with my anxious clingy pup and I had zero concerns when they took her to the back to provide her care. I can not say enough nice things about this experience! If you're looking for a low stress environment where your pet is well cared for this is the place to come.
