If you’re a pet owner in CHS take note NOW of Lowcountry Veterinary Neurology & Surgery… Cora is a 10 year old husky mix who has been blind since birth. She also was born with dwarfism. But everyday she lives her best life maneuvering her beachside three story home unassisted, until one morning I woke up and her back legs were not moving. So first stop, as always was CVRC, where she was diagnosed with a possible herniated disc. With no neurologist available that day, I was referred to the team at LVNS off Long Point Road in Mt. P who were awaiting our arrival, ready, willing and able to do an MRI and follow up surgery. Cora left at days end and returned to the comforts of home by 5pm and has been on a quick road to recovery. Plus, the cost to this loving pet owner was 33% less than what I would have paid at CVRC, although I still endorse and use their specialty services. My thanks to the ladies for their quick and thorough attention to remedy Cora’s pain. I hope to not have any more emergencies, but if I do, you have a customer for life! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Freeman and her team. My dog, Mila, suddenly went blind and was referred here for a neurologic workup. Dr. Freeman took the time to thoroughly explain what was happening, answered all of my questions, and helped me develop a treatment plan that was both effective and affordable. Thanks to her care, Mila’s vision has been partially restored and she is doing great. I am beyond grateful for Dr. Freeman’s expertise, compassion, and understanding during such a stressful time, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of a veterinary neurologist.

July 2025 was a very scary and difficult time for me and my precious Kaci... she was diagnosed with MMM (an autoimmune disease that I had never heard of). Losing my girl was not an option and I have LVN&S to thank for ensuring that. I absolutely love the care and compassion that Kaci & I both receive. Dr. Freeman and her entire staff are fabulous. When your cat is suffering an emergency and it's one of the most frightening days you've ever had—finding a team that brought immediate relief was truly a gift. Dr. Freeman and the entire staff made us feel that our kitty was genuinely cared for, and so were our emotions. Dr. Freeman was thorough, professional, and compassionate.
