Veterinary Dental Care

I am so grateful for Dr Shannon and her entire team. My Pug mix had 2 fractured teeth that we assumed would need to be extracted. I was a complete mess during my consultation and day of surgery. They were so patient, kind, and reassured me the whole way through (still kept risk grounded in reality which I appreciate). I opted in for a Board-certified Anesthesiologist to give me peace of mind and Dr Ovbey was incredible. She was so thorough and empathetic (again I was a blubbering mess). They called me once they had a full diagnosis to talk through next steps and reassure me June was doing well under anesthesia. I’m happy to report June is already healing so well, beyond my wildest dreams. I also appreciate how transparent they were about the surgery estimate (providing a range from low to high) so there were no surprises. They clearly operate with the highest level of professionalism, care, and efficiency. While I hope this is the end of my pug’s dental problems, I have full confidence in Dr Shannon and her team if I ever have to return to Veterinary Dental Care in the future (and refer anyone in need). Amazing. All staff treated me and my family with a lot of respect, empathy, and most importantly helped my loving 8 year old Lab with getting teeth extracted! I was very nervous about this surgery due to his age and going under anesthesia but both Dr. Shannon and Rachel followed up with me every step of the way and made sure I knew he was in good hands! I see lots of reviews about the pricing, this is the first time I’ve ever had to do anything like this so I’m not totally sure what is good and bad. But I do know I took my dog to a specialist and paid specialist pricing and he is living happy and pain free now! I believe in "you get what you pay for" and I definitely did! I’d do it again in a heartbeat!

Dr Shannon and her team were very thorough explaining the procedure my dog was getting and how the day would pan out. They were very upfront about the cost and making sure we were comfortable with it! I could tell my nervous dog was in great hands and they wanted the best for him!

Dr. Shannon and team were great and covered all scenarios/options with us prior to our 14 yr old pup’s dental cleaning and extractions. He had a lot of issues but a month later he’s happy again and back to his playful self we used to know. Thank you taking such great care of him and restoring his quality of life!

The level of care, precision, and calm confidence made what could’ve been a stressful situation feel surprisingly easy. Lady was treated with genuine kindness, and I felt fully informed the entire time. We’re extremely pleased with the outcome and the professionalism of everyone involved. Highly recommend.

Dr Shannon and her team took amazing care of our 14 yo mini-schnauzer. He was diagnosed with IMHA 3 years ago and we were worried about triggering it with meds or anesthesia. We were also worried about putting a 14 yo dog under as well. Well everything went really well and Baxter recovered very quickly. I would highly recommend Dr Shannon and her team . They have amazing bedside manner and you can tell they really care and love what they do. It’s been 2 weeks since his surgery and he is full recovered and has more energy than ever. Dr. Shannon and her staff are amazing. Both of my dogs are patients of Dr. Shannon's and have their dental exams and cleanings for the past three years. They are very caring and kind. I feel that both of my dogs are in the best hands with Dr. Shannon.
