Middletown Veterinary Clinic is an overall outstanding pet health care provider.

We want to give a huge shout out to Mike for all of his help with our new bearded dragon! He stayed late to make sure we had everything we needed and took the time to educate us on proper care, setup, and feeding. You can tell he truly cares about the animals and his customers. We really appreciate his patience, knowledge, and outstanding customer service. Thanks again, Mike, for making this such a great experience for our family!

Highly recommend Middletown Veterinary. The staff is amazing and honestly I adore all of them. They are compassionate, caring, and patient. I have a very challenging older calico, personality wise, that I wouldn’t take anywhere else but to see Dr. Owen. He is absolutely wonderful with her and always gets us taken care of with her allergies which can be a constant problem. He takes his time and answers any questions. My other cat makes herself at home there as well as my dog. Recently my dog was very sick but we got right in to see Dr. Owen and in two days she was back to normal with her belly issues. So if you looking for a veterinarian practice that cares about you and your animals Middletown Veterinary Clinic is where you need to visit. They again are all wonderful, especially Shelby for putting up with my constant phone calls and questions!!

They gave my dog a surgery. She didn't make it. I don't blame them in any way. She was old and it was just too much for her. They were really nice people and by far the most reasonably priced. I was fully prepared to let my dog suffer and die because I was waiting to hear an outrageous price for her surgery. They gave me a high and low end price and both were affordable enough that I ended up, pointlessly, getting the high end. Dr. Owen, is a real cool guy. They would/will definitely be my go to vet If I end up with another pup. Thanks to everyone there for trying.

Middletown has taken great care of my four cats for the several years I have lived in the area. They have vaccine clinics, night hours, and emergency hours. I have not utilized their hotel offerings but I feel so lucky to have a vet like this nearby. Each employee I have worked with or encountered have always taken special attention to us. Even when my beloved kitty passed the rainbow bridge, they handled his care and treated me with such compassion. I am ease knowing I can trust my animals/children with this vet. Dr. Beste working nights and weekends to do vaccine clinics warms my heart and shows how much he cares and that extends through his employees as well. I really wanted to say I’ve only had one experience with this vet, but I’m so so glad they were the ones who helped us. We very unexpectedly lost one of our cats of 14 years a week ago. I called this vet in hysterics right after I found him because we didn’t know what to do and they’re basically in our backyard. The women on the phone and in the office were simply amazing. Myself, my son, and husband were beside ourselves and basically nonstop bawling because we had just found our cat not even 10 minutes before we stepped into their office. They gave us a room and all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. The compassion we were shown at the time was so very needed by the three of us, so thank you. The process even though not expected was smooth. Less than a week after he passed we received his paw print in a very nice box with a picture frame on top and his ashes were in a wooden box that was engraved with his name and a picture frame as well. So. All in all thank you we sincerely appreciated it and want to pass our thanks you to the ladies working on 9/04 right before close it really meant a whole lot to us, thank you. ❤️

Was pleased to get quick appointment and very good techs and team members but disappointed in one of their vets. Had a cat with labored breathing one day, vet thought he just had a virus, nothing important. Gave him two shots and said bring back in 2 days if necessary for more detailed Xray/blood work. Got worse later in day, took him to animal hospital in Hagerstown. Vet tech put him on oxygen immediately when she saw his breathing issue. Turns out after an X-ray he had lungs full of cancer and had to be put down. I feel the Middletown vet should have recognized as we did that, he had a serious condition.
