I was out of town when my 9 year old paralyzed Maltese had a urinary blockage. My dog’s acupuncture vet referred me to Dr. Carter at AWS. She was amazing and did the surgery to remove the bladder stones and clear his urethra. The price was extremely reasonable compared to the emergency vet. I am so thankful that she was able to fix his situation and communicate with me long distance. She has followed up with me several times and made sure everything was ok with Scout. I highly recommend AWS Animal Hospital.

We took our 17-year-old chihuahua, Canela, to AWS Animal Hospital for a dental cleaning, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she received. Dr. Joy Carter did an amazing job. She was incredibly patient, answered all of my questions, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which gave me so much peace of mind. Patricia was also so kind and caring with Canela, treating her with such gentleness and compassion. You can truly tell how much they care about their patients. Thank you both for taking such great care of my pup!

Took my female Siamese cat to AWS for an emergency, and everyone from the moment I walked in, made sure to care for her well being. From the kind young lady at the front desk, to the people directly dealing with her (Herman & Dr. Carter 🙏🏻) who literally saved her life, and continued to follow-up with me, to see how she was doing. If you love your pet as much as I do, these are the professionals you want to have on their side. May God bless the staff at AWS of SFL and all the glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

What a great place and experience for my dog. From the front office to the doctor, all were on point and courteous. German, was very attentive, understanding and knowledgeable. Dr. Carter is very very knowledgeable, to the point with no hesitation and confident. Her many years experience really shines though. We felt safe and knew exactly was going to be done and how. It truly was a great experience. Once your pet is in the hands of a caring knowledgeable, experienced doctor all your worries are gone. Thank you!!!

I recommend Animal Welfare of Miami enough! They did an absolutely amazing job caring for my dog, who had three tumors removed. From start to finish, they showed incredible care and professionalism. Not only did they handle the surgery flawlessly, but they also provided me with all the assistance I needed afterward, including follow-ups and being available whenever I called with questions. The staff was so attentive and kind, making both me and my dog feel comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to their incredible care, my dog is now thriving, and we’re back to playing at the park like nothing ever happened! This team truly goes above and beyond, and they’ll forever be my number one choice in Miami. I highly recommend Animal Welfare of Miami to anyone who wants the best care for their dog. My dog and I appreciate them!

If I can give this Hospital more then 5 stars I would , I am incredibly grateful for this facility and its staff. They saved my dog’s life. She hadn’t eaten for almost three weeks before I brought her here. I had taken her to another facility, but they made me feel hopeless and just wanted my money. They told me my dog had pancreatitis, but she absolutely didn’t have that problem. The doctors at Animal Welfare, through their knowledge of X-rays, found an item stuck in her stomach. They performed surgery immediately. They genuinely care about our pets and are very affordable. I can’t thank them enough. Coco is now eating and back to her old self. Thank you Dr .Carter and Yvette you Girls are bad ass 🙏💕

Recently rescued a puppy and had to find a vet that wouldn’t charge me thousands. This was an amazing find! Very reasonably priced and although they take walk ins would highly recommend making an appointment. They usually will give it to you a day or two from when you call sometimes even day of. The vet truly cares for my pup and was able to help very much. They are great!
