The atmosphere and the staff at both locations are fantastic. Everyone is knowledgeable. I have a great appreciation for the level of care they provide/what dr. Sondel provides to his patients. I recently had the pleasure of having my heeler cared for by Dr. Mortensen and could not be happier. Very prompt, in depth and willing to explain everything as needed. Having worked with vets before, this was very refreshing. Ultimately, my dog was provided the best care possible. I can not say enough about this establishment

Thank you all for being so kind and patient during our visits! I know it was a bit chaotic bringing all 3 of our dogs in at once, but I truly appreciate how thorough Dr. Mortensen and her assistant were with each of our fur babies. My German Shepherd ended up needing a tooth pulled, which was very heartbreaking. But everyone who worked with Mishka was very sweet and gave her lots of lovin' while she was in recovery, which was very much appreciated! 🙂 Mishka recovered quickly and is already back to her normal, crazy self. I'm so happy we found a vet clinic that cares about our dogs just as much as we do!

Literally the best vet ever! I drive an hour just to come here for my pets. They are so sweet and so good with my cats! They aren’t just all about money and actually help you over the phone when you have questions. They truly care about their patients. I have vets in my area but love these vets so much that I will drive an hour just to go.

My experience with Sondel has been just ok overall, but I left extremely disappointed after my recent experience. Everything has always felt very rushed, and communication never felt as thorough or compassionate as it should have been. What really upset me was during my dog’s labor and delivery situation. For a facility that claims to specialize in reproductive work, allowing my dog to continue suffering during normal business hours instead of stepping in sooner felt incredibly concerning and honestly unethical to me. I trusted this clinic throughout her pregnancy and paid a significant amount for prenatal and care expecting experienced support when it mattered most. Unfortunately, when we truly needed help, I did not feel supported or prioritized. It’s a real shame because I had high expectations for a veterinary facility advertising reproductive expertise. Very disappointed with how everything was handled.

I’ve been bringing Blu to Dr. Sondel’s clinic since we moved from Florida over a year ago. We finally met Jessie, and he’s such a kind person. Our first visit with him was an emergency after an accident at doggy daycare. Despite the hectic morning and a snowstorm, he made sure Blu was seen. What truly touched my heart was seeing him allow a homeless man and his cat inside to stay warm and safe until the blizzard passed. As a nurse who sees patients with frostbite, I know how rare that kind of compassion is. It’s clear that Jessie doesn’t just care about our furry babies he genuinely cares about people too. Not many business owners would do that. I’m grateful for the care and kindness shown at this clinic and highly recommend them.

New to area and had poor experience at another vet. After reading reviews I called and got our dog in right away for an infection that has been on going. Our vet was wonderful, caring and very knowledgeable. Explained everything and Our dog Bailey could feel our vet was careful and caring - and it calmed her. Looks like we’ve found our vet! When you are looking for someone to care for an important member of your family - you want the best, most caring person you can find. We found her here!

I can’t fully explain how much I love this place, but I’ll try. We switched to sondel a couple years ago due to our previous vet making some questionable decisions and misdiagnosing something. I am so glad we switched. The care and attention we get from the veterinarians here is top notch. Dr. Wallisch and Dr. Mortensen clearly care about me and more importantly, my beloved pets. They take so much time to help me, they answer all of my numerous calls and emails, and they always know how to help in the end. My pets are very old and I love them dearly, the help I’ve received is beyond what I’d ever expect and can’t thank them enough for everything. I truly believe that if you are looking for a vet that you should join Sondel, they will take care of you and your pets! I should also mention that their prices are incredibly reasonable, I definitely think I get far more than I pay for.
