Banfield Pet Hospital

I have been a Banfield client for more than 15 years. For a large portion of that time I have felt as though my pups were truly cared for on a one-on-one basis with the vet. Now, I never know who will be seeing my pet and I always feel as though they are in a rush to be done so they can go on to the next. There’s no longer any warmth in what they do. Everything is "by the book". No true compassion is being given. I use the Wellness Package for all of my pups and love the option to pay monthly. However, when/if I get a new pet, I will not be taking it to Banfield.

[Warning 4th image contains surgical incision...] One dog died and my heart blames them... Several more wrongs since his death. We reluctantly came back with our new pup and found even worse care, and and disregard. We wont be back, and we are calling corporate! Our current pup has cut nipples, they are not in alignment anymore, and so much more! Not to mention we had to buy the lamp shade collar ourselves separately!

I absolutely LOVE the staff here. They have been beyond helpful and they take such good care of my pets. They lovingly refer to one of my cats as "Bot Fly Boy". The wellness plan was one of the best decisions I've made and I wouldn't have made that decision without the help of the staff. I 100% recommend bringing your pets here.

I received text from you with a link to this review page. I replied "unsubscribe" and your system replied: " Sorry! We are having trouble understanding your message. If you need assistance, please call your local Banfield Pet Hospital." This is some pretty basic missing functionality. All of our pets have been dead for years but thanks for the painful memories. I’m pretty sure you are supposed to provide a one click solution to stop spam messages like this as well. Do better and take me off your stupid list.

Do not go on Saturday, our appointment was at 2:45 and was not seen till 3:00, and we did not leave till 4. Then, our cat came back with blood on their fur due to the vaccine that was given to him. This is normal but should be cleaned up by the nurse Sunday seems more ideal. The vet who works that day is way more passionate about animal care, and the nurse has a better idea of what's going on and our cat is not covered in blood.

Pet Salon Lauren is very good with my pet. She always does a good job.

This Banfield has frustratingly terrible customer service. It is impossible to get a basic prescription filled let alone quality veterinarian care. I have been a Banfield customer since 2006 but this location has ruined this company for me. I had hoped the new manager would be able to turn it around, she seemed very responsive and customer service focused when we spoke, but I had another issue filling a prescription, that took many phone calls to resolve (and it was not resolved satisfactorily), she has not called me back since I left a message 5 days ago. Edit: Thanks for your reply. I reached out to that email address in January 2025. I am continuing to have issues and problems. No one even responded to my very detailed and fact-based email until I followed up voicing my frustration with not receiving a reply. "Banfield cares" does not in fact "care."
