Tisdale Animal Hospital - Urgent Care & Emergency

I really wish I could give more than five stars. Dr. Tisdale literally saved my dog’s life, and I will be forever grateful to her and her team. My boy had to have two emergency surgeries for a bowel obstruction, and he pulled through and is now happy and healing because of them. Everyone there is so compassionate and really good at what they do. I was impressed the whole way through. Dr. Tisdale and her team communicate clearly and professionally, which helps so much when you’re dealing with both good news and bad news. She truly goes above and beyond. She even answered a question I had on her day off, which I definitely did not expect but appreciated so much. You can tell she and her team genuinely care about both the animals and the people who come through their doors. I’m really glad I came here. For an urgent care, they are also very affordable and offer zero-interest payment plans. They even stayed late past closing to do his surgery rather than transferring us and that meant everything to me. I can’t recommend them enough!

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. On 11/24/2025 I had to say goodbye to my precious baby Opie. We were blessed with 13.5 wonderful years with him. He will be deeply missed. Thank you Dr. Tisdale and staff for your compassion and care during this most difficult of time. The last thing I did before letting Opie go was to kiss his nose...which was something that I always did. I mean...just look at his nose...can you blame me? 🥰 Receiving his nose print was so unexpected, but it is the most precious gift to have received. Thank you so much for everything and thank you for the card. It means alot.

I have an *exceptionally* difficult senior cat and they managed him so well during both visits. They’re very thorough and the staff is so incredibly kind. I am so thankful for Tisdale and their associates.

We have a new puppy and chose to go to Tisdale Animal Hospital. So far we’ve had 3 appointments and every visit has been a great experience. My puppy has been lovingly welcomed by all of the staff. My pet questions were thoroughly answered. I’ve never felt rushed or pressured with any treatment. My puppy’s vaccinations were administered in a separate room so she doesn’t associate any unpleasantries with me. Late office hours are available which make scheduling appointments very convenient. The facility is spotless, it even smells good! There is a coffee bar and sparkling water available for visitors. And bonus! We received this beautiful personalized holiday gift bag at Chloe’s most recent visit. Enclosed is a picture of Chloe relaxed in the waiting room. Thank you Dr. Tisdale and Staff 💖

I will always be thankful and appreciative of the care my cat Onyx received at Tisdale Animal Hospital! It was late this past Saturday night when I came across Tisdale Animal Hospital when Onyx became lethargic after vomiting. I was greeted warmly when I walked in by Christiana and everything was explained clearly & with transparency. I was updated by Dr. Tisdale and all of my questions were answered, easing my mind to take Onyx back home that night. Today, Onyx is home, playing and running around with her sister, Cinnamon. This entire situation felt a lot less scary thanks to Dr. Tisdale and her amazing team! Thank you so much Dr. Tisdale, Christiana, and Summer for being a part of Onyx's health journey! Trust me when I say this, if your pet needs urgent care or emergent care, consider Tisdale Animal Hospital!

I had a wonderful experience over the weekend at this hospital while my dogs primary care veterinarian was unavailable. My dog pep was expecting a singleton puppy and was past her due date so I was worried. Dr Tisdale and staff were great with my girl pep. Dr Tisdale provided me guidance and reassurance as to what was our next steps for pep. I’m happy to say that Pep welcomed her puppy (a boy!) into the world Monday afternoon via natural whelp. Mama Pep and Baby Soren thank you all for your kindness and care. Mama & baby are doing wonderfully.

I can’t say enough great things about the team at Tisdale Animal Hospital! They took such great care of my dog, Russell, and helped remove some ticks quickly and safely. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about Russell’s comfort. They explained everything they were doing, answered all my questions, and made what could have been a stressful situation feel easy and reassuring. Russell was treated with so much kindness, and I could tell he was in good hands the entire time.
