Can’t recommend this place enough. I recently moved here and found this place online. I had to take my bunny in bc her eyes were messed up. Dr. Jewel knew exactly what was going on and helped me through the process of putting my bunny down. They provided a comfortable room during her passing. For such a devastating moment in my life she was so thoughtful and caring. I know for a fact if I went anywhere else I wouldn’t have had such a lovely experience during such a hard time. I can’t thank her enough. I’m so happy I found a vet in Louisville to take all of my pets to. I know that they will be in good hands!!

Refused to see my dying pet, despite me even begging them to do so, in tears. Why? Because they banned me from any visits because I cancelled the day of an appointment due to my former pet DYING the evening before. (That bird died because I could not find vet care for days and despite being a client and it being an emergency, they still refused to get her in). When that pet died and I called to cancel, they gave NO apology, remorse or compassion. On that occasion, I had to drive to Cincinnati just to find a vet who would euthanize her. She suffered greatly. They know this and how dire things are for bird owners. I also told them on the phone this time that NO VET can see my pet and no emergency hospital in Louisville, Kentucky will see birds. Again, no compassion whatsoever. Upon my crying on the phone with them and asking them to please not let my bird die by refusing care, she told me I was "being mean" to her by saying that but claimed she'd ask the doctor if she is willing to make an exception and would call me back. Never called me back. My animal is currently horribly sick, still. This place is sickening.

I brought in my two pet rats for a checkup and concern about upper respiratory infection, and All Pets had the most amazing attitude and care towards the both of them! They were so so sweet and loving towards them. They were also very knowledgeable about rat care. They showed me how to administer both medications to my rats in detail, which was much appreciated because at other vets they didn’t take the time to do that. At the checkout they also gave me their emergency number for exotics if my girls ever need emergency care after hours, which is a real life saver. I will definitely be coming back again for regular checkups and will be recommending this vet to anybody I know who needs an exotic vet for rats.

All pets clinic was very kind to my rat Mabel during her little life. Dr. Jewell and her techs showed nothing but compassion for my pet and I’m forever grateful for their kindness. They were very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had. And they were always able to get mabel in for appointments without long waits and she treated even the small issues with urgency. Between doing a mass removal, dealing with mites, abscesses, the techs gave me such good advice of how to handle and care for her through all these dilemmas to make sure she was the most comfortable through it all. Even dealing with the pet loss I got nothing but hugs of support and I truly feel like I could never trust another vet with caring for any future pets I may get 💗

This was my First time visiting all pets and I loved the hospitality. The nice young lady came out to take the wounded baby bunny off my hands and was very kind and informative.

They were scheduled to do a necropsy on my bird and give me back the ashes. They forgot to call back about both and I kept calling, long after I should have had the necropsy results and the ashes. Two weeks AFTER the scheduled date for both results to have been in, I called AGAIN where they said the vet found the necropsy to be inconclusive. No apology whatsoever. I had other birds at home and the entire time had to worry whether this one passed from something contagious. Then, during the call, stated she didn't know where the ashes were and would call back. Days later, no call. Finally, I called and she said she had them. Again, no apology. THEN, later on, had another bird issue which was an emergency. Made an appt but told them I was trying to find somewhere she could be seen asap. Found a place who could see her right away, tried to cancel here. Upon calling to cancel, they said they were going to charge me for the appointment anyways. Claimed to have a policy that if you cancel the same day, you are charged. I said I was never told this and they know this is an emergency. She did not care. PLEASE NOTE-Despite their comment below claiming it wasn't them, it was absolutely 100 % them. You'll see in all their comments wot any negativity, they never hold themselves accountable and often just blame the client.

I recently adopted a bunny friend from Indiana House Rabbit Society, they highly recommended Dr. Jewell and her staff here in Louisville. We went in for a well visit and left with such a sense of relief! I am well prepared for any bunny illness that may arise, very educated on diet and nail trims and most of all comforted that we have a vet that is amazing with all critters great and small (including their nervous humans😊)
