The Whole Pet Vet

I am mature pet owner who has had many animals over my life ... and therefore many veterinarians. Whole Pet Vet remains my favorite due to the management values of owner Dr. Hillary Wheeler. She listens to my needs for my pets. I am more holistically oriented in my pet care and Dr. Wheeler, being a holistic vet, always considers my views in presenting treatment options. She, and her whole staff, are kind and knowledgeable animal-loving people. The office is always organized and has a calm feeling which supports pets who might be nervous about going to the vet. I also have Tru-Panion insurance which they bill directly for me. I cannot say enough to compliment this exceptional veterinary office. I highly recommend them and gladly drive further for their care.

Had an emergency and whole Pet Vet fit me in that morning. They did a thorough exam and discovered the pain was coming from the shoulder and not the leg which is what I thought when I took my dog in. Prescribed treatment was thoroughly explained. Front office was responsive and efficient even as they managed a very busy waiting room which I haven’t seen in the 12 years we have been taking our dog to whole Pet Vet. Over the years we have seen different doctors and all staff are professional, kind, patient, and clear. If they don’t have the expertise to help your dog with their health issue they will recommend experts who have the same philosophy for health and business as the Whole Pet Vet.

We've been very happy with the Whole Pet Vet over the years for our high strung pup that we got right before Covid. We appreciate all the time the doctors and staff have spent with us working through the questions regarding vaccines, neutering, and treatment plans for the minor issues that have come up for us in the 6 years we've been coming here! I wanted to specifically work with a team that has a caring and holistic perspective on natural dog health and dog behavior. Very good at all of these with our pup, so far! Thank you WPV!

This is the best clinic I have ever taken my dog to. My dog is super fearful and can be aggressive if approached by strangers. They are a fear free clinic and I could see right off the bat that they are super knowledgeable. Dr Landeen and her assistant (sorry I didn’t catch her name) couldn’t have made our experience better. Dr. Landeen sat on the floor and spent more than one hour talking to us while gaining his trust, her assistant worked to gain his trust as well. At the end of the appointment they both were able to pet him and even check his teeth! I am over the moon to finally have found a clinic with staff who really cares and goes above and beyond to make vet visits a positive experience. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you dr Landeen!!!

We recently found about this hollistic vet and they have been a breath of fresh air. After so many vet visits our dog has finally had a chance to find knowledgeable doctors and staff! Which is key! Staff named Ashley has been very sweet on the phone then in person even remembered us! We would definitely recommend this vet to friends and family. We are very careful without dogs when it comes to vets and can’t believe how they treated our dog with such care. Thank you guys for being there for her and us! We will definitely be back!

The Whole Pet Vet is consistently professional, caring and responsive. Every doctor and staff person we have interacted with over the 12 years we have been clients has been welcoming and answered questions and concerns with patience and clear explanations. In terms of treatment plans and costs, the Whole Pet Vet provides all the information prior to treatment in as transparent a way as possible.

My anxious dog LOVES Visiting the whole pet vet because everyone, all the doctors all the staff treat him like Norm walking into cheers. They are gentle and skilled at winning over his trust, and the specialty care he receive receives. is insightful, and expert. We are lucky to have such a center locally.
