Our current dog is our second dog to receive care at Los Gatos Dog and Cat Hospital. We have had two regular vets there that we see/saw for scheduled appointments and a number of visits with other vets there as urgent needs came up from time to time. Everyone has always been kind and gentle and knowledgeable and we have always felt our dogs to be in good hands there. Our first dog was very nervous about medical attention, though he loved everybody there and was very happy to be there until the stethoscope came out. His diabetes was a challenge and we received a lot of support from his vet and he did get a lot better about stethoscopes and syringes and blood tests. Our second dog has loved this place since he was 10 weeks old and he has felt loved every time he has been there. His veterinarian keeps current with the field and helps to keep us current as well - her answers are helpful and complete and she is always supportive of our dog and of us as owners trying to do a good job for our dog. We feel we have excellent care here in a warm and supportive environment.

I’m so grateful for having LGDC taking care of my dog, such a relief to see them for routine care as well as be supported by staff and incredible vets when a problem comes up urgently. They are wonderful, so friendly, it means so much. Recently with a sudden behavior change for my dog, they got her in quickly with everyone being helpful and showing such kindness. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Giddings, Eileen and Rosa? (I forgot her name, so sorry) were especially patient with my special needs kitty. She had the best trip to the vet she’s ever had. Thank you for letting me be in the exam room with her, not only for her exam, but also for her injections and labs. This allowed me to reassure her and prevented her from getting too scared. I loved that Eileen and her helper, whose name I’ve forgotten (she was so gentle!), improvised a cat burrito from a towel on hand for her injection when they realized the pressure jacket was too small. They took care of the ouchy stuff so quickly, Chani barely had time to get upset. I also really appreciated Dr. Giddings taking the the time to get to know Chani and learn her history. The phone call later that evening to check in about Chani’s new diet was also so appreciated. Best trip to the vet ever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We’ve been taking our fur babies to Los Gatos Dog and Cat hospital for quite a while now and we always feel supportive and comfortable there…the front desk staff is kind and accommodating and all the doctors we’ve had always go above and beyond! We switched vets when we moved to the South Bay from the peninsula and we never thought we’d find a vet we loved as much as our old vet, but we couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend!

Our dog Rocky is very anxious when visiting the vet. They allow us to park in the parking lot and wait for the technician to come out and trim his nails. They are always accommodating and friendly.

This is hands down the best set of vets, assistants and front-desk staff in the Bay Area. They treat all of us, humans and our dog with utmost respect and care. We are so lucky to have them in our court.

We love all the staff, especially Dr. Pachorek and Dr. Giddings. We have been coming to the practice since before Dr Frandle bought it. We have brought at least 8 dogs here and have never been disappointed in the level of care they have provided.
