Could not sleep until I said: I LOVE THIS VET! They actually CARE! They took such great care of my Ivy’Ana Patrice and I wish them all nothing but the best in life. Dr. Dallam runs a great hospital. The bedside manner of every staff member is IMPECCABLE. They are my first choice for all emergency services. They didn’t make me feel like a bad dog mom AT ALL. They didn’t jump straight to the most expensive option just because they could either. I have so much respect and admiration for the dedication they have for their jobs.
We rescue animals so from past experience most Vets/ER always try stacking the bull as if there is a sheet they go by no matter what is wrong with your animal. So I’ve learned to "Vet" them and I can say that the Bets on staff are extremely kind and actually care about animals. They only sold us what they knew the kitten needed and no more because they knew since we rescue animals that we are always trying to save. They not only saved the kitten, they were also very personable and down to earth. We will be using them in the future and highly recommend them if you want honesty and Doctors/vets that are knowledgeable and understanding to each situation.
My American Staffordshire was hit by a car. A friend told me to take him to Vet ER as she had good care there. I found the staff was so nice, concerned and very helpful. The Vet was very thorough in her evaluation. She brought her laptop into the room and showed me x-rays and explained everything it showed. She definitely knows her stuff. I was very happy with the care Hank received and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant visit. Everyone is awesome. Thank you for giving Hank a full recovery.
Our cat went down hill on Christmas eve and had to be rushed into the Vets ER around 10:30 in the evening. They took her right in because she was in distress. Unfortunately the most humane thing was to let her go. We were able to sit with her, and everyone there was very sympathetic. Today we received a beautiful card from them. From the reception, nurses, to the vet, all are professional and kind.
We had to say goodbye to our Gizmo on Sunday. I was in such distress, but the staff and especially the Dr were so compassionate. They explained everything and were very calming. The doctor had the best bedside manner I’ve ever seen in a veterinarian. My boy had the most peaceful and serene send off. There was a candle that read "When this candle is lit, someone is in mourning, please be respectful" And there was a jar of Hershey kisses that read "goodbye kisses" 😭 As awful as the situation was, they made it comforting. There was a couch that my husband and I could sit on and hold him through the whole process. We even got a condolences card in the mail today from them. I really wish this place were our regular vet and not just emergency. We would switch SO fast! Thank you everyone at Lakeland Vets ER for your compassion. May our little gremlin, Gizmo rest in peace 🐾
Took our blind cat in to get checked out for severe weight loss and not eating at all, got there they checked him and $700 just for blood tests very expensive, and worst of all after our cat got his shot technician came back and put our blind cat back on the table just for our cat to fall off the table not even trying to help him after he fell. Disgusting behavior beware this place, and don't go here at all costs.
We have had nothing but the best experience with this team! They are calm, cool, and collected. A wonderful team of nurses and Dr Kurry is great at what she does! Clean and fair pricing! Would recommend to anyone.
