My puppy Charlie and I had the best experience here. She’s had tummy issues off and on her whole life and she’s only 7 months old, so I’ve been really worried. When I called, Dr. Carla Barstow got us in right away and was so kind and caring. She gave us a clear diagnosis and a plan for treatment that finally made sense. Every single person we met was amazing. The staff were friendly, patient, and really knew what they were doing. Charlie loved everyone and felt so comfortable the whole time, which meant so much to me. I’ll definitely keep bringing her here. I can’t recommend Highland Pet Hospital enough!

Absolutely love the staff and the vet! They are so friendly and welcoming. My girl Cleo especially loves the attention and love they give her! Dr. Barstow is extremely personable and answers any and all questions with ease. I’d recommend coming here for your regular checks ups, but especially for all of your reproductive health needs for your animals.

I took my chronically ill cat to Dr Barstow for a second opinion after feeling like my original vet just wasn’t really trying to get to the root of his issues. Within the first few minutes of her examining my cat she caught a major issue that needed emergency surgery. Something that should have been caught by my original vet seeing as he goes at least once a month. Just 15 minutes with Dr Barstow and she saved my cats life. I could never thank her enough. She is extremely informative and knowledgeable. The staff there is super helpful, kind and attentive. This will now be my forever vet ❤️

Walking into this clinic feels like walking into a place where your pets are truly loved. The staff here don’t just treat our dogs — they care for them as if they were their own. Every visit, we’re met with kindness, patience, and genuine attentiveness. We’ve trusted them with our two Golden Retrievers ( 6 years old and 1) and they’ve been nothing short of amazing. When we had a litter of puppies, they guided us every step of the way and always answered my questions when I called, and now our two little ones are growing up under their watchful, care. What sets this office apart is not just their knowledge and professionalism, but the way they make you feel safe and supported. Their pricing is fair, but the peace of mind they give us is priceless. We leave every appointment knowing our dogs are in the best hands possible. If you’re looking for a veterinary team that blends expertise with heart, this is the place. They’ve become an extension of our family, and I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with our Goldens!

They are very polite and nice and glad to take your money...but the vet never had time to talk to me or make a birthing plan for my dog's first litter and my first litter as an owner. Spent over $1000 and got maybe 2 sentences out of the vet...pathetic. Found a better vet twice as far away, but worth it.

I 100% recommend this vet. The doctor and her staff were incredibly kind and caring with my Frenchie, Destiny. Everything went well with her surgery and the puppies are doing great. I’m very grateful to all of them. They are the best!
