We had a great experience with Maddie and Dave during our dog Nova’s comprehensive exam at PetSmart. They were both very kind, professional, and excellent with Nova, making her feel comfortable and cared for throughout the visit. They also took the time to clearly explain the lab test work and answered all of our questions in a very helpful and patient way. We really appreciated their care, attention, and great customer service. Thank you both for taking such good care of Nova!

I had one of the worst experiences at the Banfield location inside PetSmart. I made an appointment in advance, but when I arrived, they refused to accept my dog without any proper explanation. This was extremely frustrating and a complete waste of my time. What made the situation even worse was the behavior of the staff. The associate at the front, Luis, was very rude and had a bad attitude. Instead of helping or explaining anything, I was dismissed and told to leave. There was no respect, no professionalism, and no care for the customer. On top of that, I was told that if I wanted my dog to be seen, I would have to pay out of pocket—even though my dog’s plan is active until the end of the month and should fully cover the visit. It is completely unfair to take money for a plan and then refuse to honor it while asking for extra charges. This feels dishonest and misleading. Overall, the entire experience was unacceptable. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional, and the service was not honored as promised. If you care about your time, your money, and your pet, I strongly recommend avoiding this location. Very disappointing experience. I will not be coming back.

The team at this Banfield location should be the example for all your other locations. The doctors carefully explain everything you need to know concerning your animals. The staff are equally extremely pleasant and competent. Thank you Banfield Lake Forest. Dale, Maggie and Bailey Berman.

Banfield has been a great experience for me and my two puppies. I purchased the puppi plus wellness program which was a great deal. They also performed my two dog's paying procedures and they came out great. Their new covid protocol where you drop them off and come back for them for vet visits was a bit dissapointing but understandable. Overall my experience has been fantastic with them!

I've never had a bad experience with Banfield and the Lake Forest unit was no different. Brought our 1 year old puppy for vaccinations and the vet quickly noticed other issues that needed treatment too, which explained a lot of behaviors he was having. Service was kind, fast and he was very comfortable.

Colleen was very friendly, helpful and Finley loved her. We recently moved from Lake Forest and look forward to a long relationship with the Temecula (on Ynez) office. Thanks!!

I love everyone here at Banfield pet hospital. I’ve brought all three of my dogs here because I trust the experts here that take great care of all the patients that come in. All very well informed and educated on their tasks and very helpful staff members. Front desk, vet techs, assistants, vets you are all amazing people here!
