If you love you fur baby like we did this is the vet clinic you want to go to. Staff and Dr are caring and top of the line. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our pet. Thank you for being there for us in time of need.

I adopted a 6 year old springer spaniel mix. Dr Fontenot and her exceptional staff took great care of us. Helped me get familiar with my new dog and what I could expect from her. She was in good shape and I know they will keep her that way. They were caring, gentle, kind, supportive and proactive. I will be with them forever. And, when I was called away, they boarded her. She was very comfortable and well cared for when I picked her up. Again, excellent care!!

My family and I take our fur babies here. Dr. Babette Fontenot and the amazing staff are always friendly and goes above and beyond for us and our fur babies. By far Bertrand Drive Animal Hospital is the best in Lafayette, Louisiana.

I had a good experience the first time I was here with my cat Todd but I am unsure if I will be returning after today. My cat is very sweet and loves people. The first vet trip he had here he had time to roam around the exam room and was not manhandled. However today there was a dog in the lobby that made him a bit tense. Once we got in the exam room he was immediately pulled from his bag and with no time given to acclimate to the space. They held him down and shoved the thermometer up his butt almost immediately. He was hardly scruffed down while he hissed.Mind you he has never ever hissed at anyone before and loves meeting new people. I wish I would’ve stopped it but I felt kind of disregarded during this and was in shock at how he was reacting to this treatment. It hurt my feelings how they were handling him as he’s a very sweet cat and he was treated as if he is aggressive. Todd can be a treat at the vet , I don’t know what happened today or why he was handled so aggressively.

I have brought my dog, George, here for nearly 2 years now and love them!! They always take such good care of him. He's boarded there several times and he even gets excited now when we pull up to the vet. I brought him today for his annual shots and he was treated like royalty during his visit. He had several staff come say hey to him and one even walked in just to give him a bandana and a little kiss ♥️ when the vet walked in she said "I had 3 different people tell me George was here." I would recommend them to anyone. The love and support they offer to their patients and owners is just amazing. Anytime I've called for help they do everything they can and are so understanding and empathetic. They always call a couple days after visits as well just to check on him also. If we ever move cities/states it's gonna be hard to find another vets office like theirs. Thank y'all so much for all the love and support you show my Georgie🥰

I've been bringing my dog here for almost a year now. She isn't the easiest of dogs to work with, but they always make the effort and take the time to make us feel welcome and like it is their pleasure to help. Their prices are very accommodating, and they even offer a student discount. They have been incredibly kind and helpful- I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring vet!

I am glad I brought my beautiful dog to this place. They really care about it. They've been checking on how's my dog doing every 3 days. Highly recommended. Please do not expect less than this on your animal's hospital.
