We have been bringing our pets to McMonigle Veterinary Hospital for years, and they have truly seen us through it all. From routine dental cleanings and managing food sensitivities to navigating much harder diagnoses like diabetes and doggie dementia, the team here has been our rock. They also saved us when our cat was suffering from severe gastro issues. No matter how complex the problem is, they take the time to explain the treatment plan and offer genuine support. It takes a special team to handle senior pet care and chronic conditions with such grace. We are so grateful for their expertise and kindness over the years

Such a great place to take your pets. My dog is highly reactive but this is the only place I feel safe and comfortable to take him. Dr.Martinez is a compassionate and experienced vet, I am always happy with the care. The care is expensive as expected but it is worth it as it’s always helpful and the staff try their best to give the best care. Staff are always respectful and responsive so it very easy to know what’s going on and contact them if needed.

I've been bringing all of my pets to McMonigle Veterinary Hospital for 18 years. At first, I lived 5 min up the hill from the clinic. Now it's a 35-45 drive on the freeway since I've moved farther south. It's still worth it to me, to take my pets to a clinic where I know they get excellent care, friendly service, and where I trust the recommendations of the doctors. I briefly tried switching to a closer clinic about 5 years ago, but when one of my cats got sick and the new vet was quick to say there wasn't much to be done, I brought him to McMonigle for a second opinion, and haven't even considered switching again since then. I miss Dr. Rob who retired a couple of years ago, but we love Dr. Martinez too!

Wish this care existed for the human-beans! Excellent communication, care, and the friendliest, most passionate animal lovers. Got all our babies vax here and will be establishing more care. Thanks for all that you do!!

We chose McMonigle because Dr. Ruthford is a miracle worker with our very anxious dog. She takes her time, sits on the floor with her, and really makes sure that she's as comfortable as she can be before starting an exam, or whatever else we're there for. McMonigle is nowhere near where we live, but the staff are great, and we'll continue going there because of that. Special mention to Gary, who checked us in, and Michelle who was assisting Dr. Ruthford. All the staff are great, and you can tell that they actually care about your pet. The only drawback is the parking situation, but the staff and service more than makes up for it.

I highly recommend this vet clinic! I had an urgent issue come up with my pet and called early in the morning to see if an appointment was available. The receptionist was able to get me scheduled within an hour, which I truly appreciated. My dog was seen by Dr. Ruthford and her assistant (apologies if I got the names wrong). From the moment I picked up the phone to the time I walked out of the facility, the entire experience was amazing. I’ve had bad experiences with other vets in the past, but Ruth and her assistant were incredibly patient, kind, and caring throughout the visit. The prices were also very reasonable.

My dog Luka has been going here since he was a puppy. He is now 6 yrs old. Everyone has been amazing. For years, they took good care of my dog. Dr Martinez is amazing and was always informative and helpful. She did a very good job when my dog was neutered. Unfortunately we moved 30 miles away and had to find a vet closer to where we live. Other than that, Will definitely come back here in the future. I recommend this veterinary hospital to every pet parents!
